Epic landscapes and ancient cultures with your own private guide

Bolivia sits smack bang in the middle of some of South America’s giants – both in terms of size and popularity. However, it more than holds it own thanks to its incredible diversity. This is where you’ll find Andean highlands, Amazon jungle, expansive plains and thousands of square miles of salt flats.

It is a special place where one can travel from the world’s highest navigable lake (Lake Titicaca) to the world’s highest capital city, perhaps stopping off for lunch at ancient ruins that pre-date the Incas (Tiwanaku) and fall asleep to the sound of spider monkeys in the Amazon rainforest.

  • Explore the vibrant markets and lofty city of La Paz.
  • Learn about the fascinating lifestyle of the sacred Lake Titicaca’s indigenous communities.
  • Traverse the surreal and magical Uyuni Salt Flats of the south west.
  • Visit the high plains and colonial splendour of Sucre.

Our amazing, hand-picked local guides will help you make sure that you enjoy the very best of Bolivia. It is a hugely exciting country to travel in and visitors will be rewarded with a true adventure and some of the most profound and
spectacular landscapes on the continent.

Whether it’s a short stopover, flying visit or fully-fledged grand tour of Bolivia, we can put together an itinerary to your exact tastes and preferences. A holiday to Bolivia is often best combined with its neighbouring countries of Peru or Chile (or both) for breadth of lodgings, culture and terrain. We can plan every step of your trip so you can enjoy the tremendous adventure and fantastic sights of Bolivia knowing that Jacada Travel are taking care of all the details.

Bolivia has some of the most epic scenery in South America. Visiting Salar de Uyuni is like being on another planet with a never ending blanket of white interspersed with beautiful volcanoes and bright, multi-coloured lakes. In the wet season it’s hard to distinguish where the sky and land meet.
