As a child, I embarked on a linguistic journey that shaped the rest of my life. I was fascinated by languages from an early age – so much so that my parents used to joke that I must have been French in a past life. I’ve worked as an au pair, living with two incredible families in Corsica and Valencia where I was lucky enough to feel like part of a new family and experienced the essence of these two new cultures. I then attended university in Malaga and the small alpine town of Grenoble before heading to Latin America for an adventure to new territories. Travel is an incredible opportunity to leave your comfort zone and forever change your way of thinking.

My most memorable trip

Botswana

Spotting the big five was a surreal experience however what made it extra special was having an incredible guide to help us really get under the skin of Botswana and show us that there's much more than meets the eye!

On my bucket list

Skeleton Coast, Namibia

I would love to visit the Skeleton Coast of Namibia which has been on my bucket list for years. I'd like to feel like I'm on Mars and see the untouched wilderness and illuminated night sky as well as the blend of desert and ocean along this extraordinary coastline.

My top tips

In Peru, visit more than just Machu Picchu: Take a helicopter over the Nazca lines, sandboard in Huacachina, spot penguins in Paracas or go Piranha fishing in the Amazon.

Embark on a night hike in Costa Rica with one of our expert guides to spot nocturnal animals you may have missed otherwise - tell them apart by the colour and shape of their eyes.

If the only time of year you can visit Costa Rica is during the rainy season (May-October) head to El Tortuguero on the Caribbean coast for less rainfall and thousands of turtles laying their eggs and hatch-lings running towards the ocean.

Did you know, Colombia is one of the most biodiverse countries on earth? It has deserts, rainforests, Andean cloud forests, and wide-open savannahs. Why not visit Los Llanos or the Tayrona region to see what you can find?
