Discover the best of South Africa with a private luxury tour from the experts

Incredible wildlife and so much more

See South Africa in style with Jacada Travel. We’ll create a tailor-made South Africa safari for you, helping choose your perfect mix of locations, luxury accommodation and private tours for an unforgettable journey around the rainbow nation.

Few countries can offer as much as South Africa. From getting up close to lions and leopards on a luxury safari in the Sabi Sands or the Kruger, to tasting fine vintages in the Winelands, spotting cetaceans on the Whale Coast and taking in the incredible views of Cape Town. You can be shown around vibrant cities by handpicked local guides, sleep under the stars in a private reserve in the Kalahari Desert, hike through pristine wilderness in the Limpopo or trundle across country up to Victoria Falls aboard a luxury train.

We understand there’s a lot to choose from, but don’t worry, our team of expert travel designers – many themselves from South Africa – are here to help you create your very own personal itinerary to show you the best of their home country. According to your interests, time and who you’ll be travelling with, we aim to deliver exactly the trip, standards and experiences you’re after. And with a team of concierges based in Cape Town itself, we can arrange tables at the best restaurants before you get here and provide any support you need when you arrive.

When to go

Cape Town and along the Garden Route are great to visit any time of year, but early summer when the winds drops are particularly pleasant. If you're visiting for safari, the dry winter months are often considered the best but the wetter summer months bring full waterholes, lush bushveld and lots of newborn animals.

Meet your Africa Team

Exploring the South African Winelands is a common weekend activity for me. As a local, I tend to steer clear of the ‘touristy’ estates and I have found quite a few favourites so far.

As a keen traveller, I have an intimate knowledge of South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Tanzania, Namibia and southern Mozambique, as well as Uganda, Rwanda, and even Virunga National Park in DR Congo.

I was born in Tanzania and grew up in Kenya, where I developed a genuine love of the people, landscapes and wildlife of this beautiful country.

Some of my most memorable travel experiences include kayaking in Antarctica, horse-back riding in El Calafate in Argentina, gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda, climbing Africa’s highest mountain Kilimanjaro and getting up close and personal with polar bears in arctic Canada.

Over the past 10 years, I have reported from nearly 70 countries, including Greenland, Brazil, Namibia, South Africa, Kenya, Bhutan, Nepal, the Seychelles, Bali, Thailand, and elsewhere around South-East Asia.
