Latin America has always ignited my curiosity. Past adventures have allowed me to brave the Pacific waters swimming with white-tip reef sharks in the Galápagos; sleep under canvas in a remote Mayan village in the Guatemalan jungle, take the unforgettable trek along the Inca Trail to the ruins of Machu Picchu Citadel, cross the Drakes Passage to reach Antarctica and spot whales, penguins and Albatross.

On my bucket list

Chiapas, Mexico

Next on my list is Chiapas in Mexico. I love exploring this country which has 32 distinctive states. Chiapas has canyons, waterfalls, archaeological sites immersed in jungle, coffee plantations, ancient markets and beautiful small towns - besides volcanoes and music. There is so much to discover.

My favourite trip

Colombia's hidden gems

I love this trip because it showcases Colombia beautifully. The experience is well-rounded, taking you on the paths less travelled, yet still visiting some of the most well-loved areas too. I love the mix of nature, villa stays, mountains, city and artistic talent - both in cuisine and artwork.

My favourite hotel

Tierra Patagonia, Chile

I love this hotel because for me the team here are fantastic; with passion to explore and a lot of care given to guests. Waking up in the depths of Patagonia with a front row seat to the base of the towers is spectacular.
