In May 2015 I set off on an eight-month adventure through Latin America. I began the trip in Cuba enjoying the amazing live music in beautiful Havana and eventually made it all the way down to Argentina to indulge my taste buds.
I spent my time in Central America exploring spectacular beaches in Mexico, learning to scuba dive in Honduras and hiking around the lush green volcanic landscapes in Guatemala. Then I set off on a sailing trip to reach South America, calling at a few tropical islands along the way.
In South America I found the Inca culture fascinating and enjoyed learning about their traditions and beliefs. I was continually blown away by the incredible landscapes that I visited from the Peruvian Andes to the Bolivian Salt Flats to the stunning city of Rio de Janeiro.
My favourite memories have to include all the wonderful wildlife I saw: snorkelling with manatees, diving in pristine coral reefs with turtles and getting up close to sloths in the rainforest.
Ask me about scuba diving, exploring the Amazon, and the best beaches in Brazil.

Our trip consisted of 3 nights in Quito and Otavalo, 4 nights in the Amazon and then 5 more nights in the Galapagos, splitting between a land based adventure on Isabella and Santa Cruz islands. One of the things Jacada really nailed was the local…
We've used Jacada twice now for trips to Chile and Argentina, and we've found them excellent: thoughtful, attentive, and responsive. They found good guides to show us the sights in each place we've been, and all of our transfers from one location to another have gone very smoothly. Most importantly, we like their judgment in choosing things for us to…
