I fell in love with travel when I set off on my first solo adventure aged 18 and I haven’t really stopped exploring since. I’ve been lucky enough to visit 52 countries and travel to all 7 continents. I’ve travelled all over Latin America, from Cuba all the way to Patagonia. I was in awe of the incredible landscapes, fascinating culture and warm people I found in each new country and I completely fell in love with this part of the world. I now travel to Latin America every year, continuously enriching my knowledge of the region. My personal passions are nature, wildlife and gastronomy so my favourite trip memories vary from snorkelling with penguins in Antarctica’s icy waters to hiking through the Himalayas in Nepal to tasting my first ceviche in Peru. There is still so much of the world left for me to explore and many new experiences to have, so I plan to keep on travelling as much as possible.

Latin America, Polar Regions

My most memorable trip

Antarctica & South Georgia

Antarctica & South Georgia are two of the most beautiful and untouched places I have ever travelled to. My trip here was the deepest connection to nature I've ever felt and nothing compares to the adventure of sailing to the end of the world.

On my bucket list

Raja Ampat, Indonesia

I would love to go to Raja Ampat in Indonesia for a scuba diving trip. I love to dive and explore the underwater world and this always comes up as the best place to go. Relaxing on the beautiful isolated beaches after a day of diving would also be great.

My favourite trip

Grand Chile & Antarctica Luxury Explorer

A truly epic trip that covers so much, has so many highlights and is achievable in just 15 days. I love the variation within the trip too; lush green rolling valleys in the wine region to the stark greys, whites and blues in Antarctica. The trip ends in Torres del Paine which is probably one of the best places in Latin America for hiking so for anyone who wants an active adventure - this trip certainly ticks that box.

My favourite hotel

Whichaway Camp

Whichaway Camp in Antarctica is surrounded by frozen lakes, icefalls and glaciers. This is the most adventurous way to visit Antarctica with the option to explore iridescent ice tunnels and crystal caves, go ice climbing or abseiling and reach the geographic south pole.

My top tips

Bring an underwater camera to the Galapagos Islands, the marine life is absolutely incredible and you'll get to take home some great videos.

To experience Torres del Paine national park without the crowds and with extra beauty travel in Spring to see the wildflowers bloom or fall to see the forests turn orange.

When you're in Antarctica don’t forget to put your camera away from time-to-time and take in your surroundings. I'm sure these quiet moments will stay with you forever.

For a quieter trek to Machu Picchu consider the Salkantay Trail instead of the very popular Inca Trail.
