Our experience with Jacada was an A+ every step of the way. Lily and Melanie worked with us prior to the trip in every detail of the planning. They asked great questions about our interests and what we were hoping to focus on during our time in Argentina. They arranged all of our guides and Argentina flights, restaurant reservations and accommodations.
All of our guides were informative and on time and were already aware of our interests and itineraries.
Monica, our main contact and transport guide in Buenos Aires was amazing. She escorted us through the airports from the car through the check-in process all the way to the security points making sure the luggage destinations and flights were correct. She pointed out restaurants near the hotel that turned out to be our “go to” places to eat near the hotel. Fervor, just around the corner is even a Michelin mention and well worth going to.
The number of days in each place was just right. We had enough time to learn from our guides and also have some time on our own to explore or just relax in the most beautiful lodges.
I would highly recommend a repeat of our itinerary and using Jacada for anyone who wants to get a great first experience and an overview of Argentina.

They were reliable and cared a great deal that I felt listened to and my needs were met before, during and after the trip. I never felt alone while I traveled solo. Our trip was fabulous from start to finish. Our travel designers were detail oriented; our travel progress was seamless. We enjoyed highlights of Argentina and Chile that we would otherwise not have known about, thanks to thoughtful planning. This was not our first Jacada trip nor will it be our last, if we have it our way!
Ellie put together an exciting itinerary with all the sights that I needed to see. Staying at the hotels for at least 3 nights kept the fatigue to a minimum, and all the hotels were terrific with comfortable beds and climate controlled rooms. The breakfasts were wonderful with great fresh fruit and tasty pastries. The guides were always on time and escorted me as far as they could in the airports. In all, it was a terrific trip!
Ellie and Gita planned an amazing adventure in Australia for my sister and I. The accommodations were great, all transfers seamless, and the itinerary covered everything I wanted. The attention to detail was exceptional. Thank you.
Meg and Rita put together a trip to Portugal on very short notice for my husband and me. Every moment was special. We loved every driver, every guide, every hotel stay, all the restaurants, and so much more. We do not have any criticisms, only positive remarks. Our time in Lisbon was extremely enjoyable. Next we stayed in the Duoro Valley and it was very peaceful and beautiful. Our final stay was in Porto. Porto is a culturally rich city. Every guide and driver showed up early and they were all very kind and very knowledgeable. We will definitely use Jacada again for any future trips.
I spent 9 days traveling solo in Colombia, specifically Bogota, Medellin and Cartagena. The trip was planned so thoughtfully and thoroughly, and they took into consideration all of my feedback and interests. From hotels to restaurants, to tours, everything exceeded my expectations. Lily and Berni were great to work with, and always available to discuss the details of the trip, if needed.
They carefully curated a beautiful list of boutique hotels that had all of the amenities I wanted. And booked a few restaurants with all of my “wants” included.
The tours were very well planned out, with expert tour guides, who were personable and thoughtful.
The English speaking guides and drivers were all on time/early when picking me up/dropping me off at the airport and for all excursions, which I greatly appreciated. I went to three cities in Colombia, and they booked all of the internal flights. They sent me my boarding pass a few hours before my trips, my guides took me into each airport, and made sure I got to where I needed to go. Their knowledge and passion for their cities was infectious, and made the experience that much more interesting and personal.
There was also a 24/7 What’s App group while away, which was a wonderful way to stay in touch and get immediate responses, if needed. Olga and Jessica were my contacts in Colombia, and they were super responsive, helpful and lovely.
If you’re thinking about booking a trip with Jacada, just do it, you won’t be disappointed!
We requested an itinerary to see the Costa Rica wildlife. Jacada designed our trip to maximize our sightings with stays at wonderful properties. Our planner listened to what we wanted and delivered the perfect trip for our needs. All of the activities planned were provided by guides with great skill and knowledge. And the Jacada ground support while we were in county was excellent, both in timeliness and substance. We plan to book with Jacada again.
My trip to Portugal was wonderful! I planned it with Meg and Rita, and their suggestions, answers to my questions and support all the way made my trip! I could not have done it without them!
I travelled alone, so especially as a senior , my family knew I was really not alone!
The drivers I had in Lisbon to Coimbra, and then in Coimbra to Porto were so helpful and attentive to all details.
Each hotel was more beautiful than the previous one, so much so I can not pick a favourite!
Meals were excellent!
I attended Fado in Lisbon and then a surprise Fado with Coimbra university students in Coimbra. This was arranged by Meg and Rita, was a complete surprise and so enjoyable!
The tour of the Roman ruins in Coimbra was informative and this guide was exemplary!
The Lifestyle tour with Magdalena in Porto was definitely a highlight of my trip!
Also I was able to return to Carcavelos, have lunch with friends, and also went to see the house my husband and I had built 45 years ago! Definitely a high light.
Meeting Rita in Porto was lovely. I’m so impressed by her. I could continue, but this is already too verbose!

The entire process was seamless, from planning to execution. Rachel, Lauren, and Anna thought of every detail; they worked with us constructively to plan a GORGEOUS trip within our budgetary constraints; and they created and threw in for us so many additional experiences that were so thoughtful and helped make the trip incredibly memorable.
I usually do all my travel planning independently but found myself desperately in need of time away, without the time to actually plan the trip. I did some research and settled on Jacada based on their other excellent reviews. I used Jacada to help me plan my first trip to SE Asia (Thailand, Laos and Cambodia for 2.5 weeks), which was also my first long solo trip overseas. Everything was seamless. Leanne, my travel planner, and Grace, my concierge, listened to what I envisioned for my trip and made it happen. I didn’t have to think about a thing on my trip and it was a refreshing, wonderful experience! The local travel guides were great, especially in Thailand and Cambodia. I was treated to amazing experiences that were far from the typical tourist, crowded excursions and made me feel truly special. It wasn’t cheap but you really get what you pay for and I feel it was worth it, a good value all things considered.
Exceptional experience at a reasonable price point! We were so taken care of it set a new standard of service for us. I attribute this to both Jacada services and support as well as the Vietnam hospitality and services industry. We booked our honeymoon in Chile and Argentina with the Jacada team and we wouldn’t recommend anyone else! Jacada took our interests, desires and preferences to heart and developed the most amazing week itinerary/ From the quality of local guides to the hotel bookings and food suggestions, all of our needs were met and exceeded. We did not encounter a single issue and we give full credit to our planners and local team.
We went to Marrakesh, Essaouira and Oualidia with Jacada. Our only regret was not having had more time to spend in Morocco. It was absolutely magical. James from Jacada must have been able to read our mind putting the perfect vacation together, which not only the adults but also our 6 and 10 year old boys enjoyed. Everybody we came in contact with was absolutely professional, kind, flexible and kid-friendly. We always felt safe, well taken care of and in good hands. Particular shout outs to Sallah, our guide in Marrakesh, and Mohammed, our driver.
From start to finish everyone I interacted with was wonderful to work with! I’ve never worked with a travel agent before my trip and now I’ll never travel without one!! It was so nice to sit back and relax and have a trip planned for me that was totally customized to me and my preferences. We had an absolutely incredible time on our trip and I feel like they took extra precautions to make sure we were safe and had a good time! I just came back from my Costa Rica trip , it was amazing, the attention to details , everything I wished for in this trip was there , not to mention the lovely surprises arranged by lily and Berni like lovely picnics , photographer and even a helicopter ride . Jacada provided impeccable customer service for our trip to Namibia for our ten year anniversary. Our amazing trip designer Jacob Maahs was super brilliant in the itinerary he created for us, and he pulled it off at the very last minute (we are bad planners). He was a true pleasure to work with and I would trust him with any and all my future adventure travel needs.
Jacada planned our trip of a lifetime to Vietnam and Thailand in January/February 2024 for 3 weeks. From the moment we landed in Hanoi, they prioritized our entry through customs to a no wait line and transferred us to our guide and driver. It was seamless and professional the entire trip. We experienced the culture and people in authentic day trips through the trip. Making rice paper in countryside home, drinking tea and playing music with a local family to traveling the Mekong delta in a fast boat. We had 6 different guides/drives and all of them made sure our experiences were perfect. The accommodations were all 5 stars and well situated and appointed. The top hotels included Capella in Hanoi, Four Seasons in Hoi An and Six Senses in Kao Yao Noi. It would be very difficult to not use Jacada again after having sure a wonderful trip with no worries. My trip advisor Rosanna Convey made sure we hit all the top spots and had the most spectacular trip.

What a fantastic trip to SE Asia! The trip could not have been better. The activities and tour guides were terrific. Everything from the almost last-minute pivot to travel to Costa Rica and the execution of the scintillating itinerary was amazing. Demi Roberts planning and coordinating was seamless. The Jacada local team accommodated every wish and needed adjustment as did the resorts. But above all, the activities were beyond our highest expectations. Active stops (zip-lining, horse back riding, dolphin watching, hiking) and hands on activities (cooking with locals, coffee and chocolate making) made for the perfect blended holiday. There was just so much to rave about and we were over the top thrilled with all the attention and planning that Demi gave us in the planning and execution. All three generations loved every minute of a memorable adventure. THANK YOU JACADA!! We’ll be back!

Working with the team at Jacada (specifically Rosanna and Gita) made for a seamless and incredible trip to Thailand! They took care of everything from start to finish except the international flights (we chose to do that on our own), and it was perfect. They incorporated our interests and preferences into such memorable and fun activities throughout our trip….there were so many fantastic experiences I can’t begin to list them all. The accommodations they booked met or exceeded our expectations. The local guides they set us up with were knowledgeable and fun to be with. Even their local restaurant recommendations were top notch. They were always responsive, and we felt supported throughout the process. We’ve worked with other custom and bespoke travel agencies, but usually there’s at least one small hiccup along the way. Not with Jacada…it truly was seamless from start to finish!

My adult son and I traveled to Chile in January 2024. Jacada, really Jen Richt, had this wired from the start. Great planning. Wonderful choices of lodges, great activities etc. The logistics were good, not perfect – they never are, and when there was a hiccup, Jacada jumped into the breach and fixed it. My second trip with Jacada (first to Africa with a partner agency was not nearly as good) and definitely not my last.
The experience was great in that everything was handled down to the last detail. The accommodations were 5 Star, and the experiences were some that we would not have known about on our own.
My family of 4 adults (2 adult sons) went to Iceland over the Xmas holidays from 12/21/23-12/27/23. The trip was outstanding! One of the best trips we have had as a family. There is so much to see and do in Iceland especially if you are looking for “action/adventure” type of activities, and especially in the winter. The country is also breathtakingly beautiful. Jacada was great in helping to organize the trip which was done somewhat 11th hour (in late October) and in the midst of an active volcano. The travel coordinator and concierge (Meg and Anna) were extremely organized/knowledgeable/easy to work with throughout the entire planning
process. They made great recommendations on hotels , activities, and restaurants. They also promptly answered all of our questions re the volcano situation, worked to assure us that the trip would be safe, and made necessary adjustments before and during the trip when certain areas (like the Blue Lagoon) were closed. Our guide, Svenni, who was with us as guide/chauffeur the entire trip, was outstanding! He has a HUGE personality, tells amazing stories, has a great playlist to listen to while traveling, and knows Iceland inside out. We called him the “jewel of the trip” he was so accommodating, knowledgeable and pleasant to be with.
The four of us agreed that we would definitely like to return to Iceland in the future and would definitely consider using Jacada again as a trip organizer on future trips.
We used Jacada for our Peru/Macchu Picchu and Chile/Easter Island trip and our experience was extraordinary! Our travel designer Lily took my dream itinerary and made it all come true. Every single aspect of our trip was first class. The guides were all exceptional and treat us like family. We also dealt with Berni as our departure drew closer and she really delivered. At the mid point my husband was hospitalized with salmonella, altitude sickness and a parasitic infection and everyone jumped into action. Our guide in Cuzco even met us at the hotel upon discharge to see how we could salvage our last days in Cuzco.
On Easter Island , the Explora Lodge was every bit what was advertised. We were at out 1st moai one hour after landing!
Every aspect of this trip was the bucket list trip we dreamed of and planned. Will definitely be calling Jacada again!
High-quality touring at high-quality hotels no matter where you may find yourself. We like to immerse ourselves in a new country by day and relax at night. Jacada made that happen in far-flung Cambodian locales from the bustle of Phnom Penh to the jungles of the Cardamom Mountains to the sites of the temple city of Siem Reap. Truly special.
The whole trip, from first contact through the planning process to the actual trip itself was top-notch. Every detail was considered. Every wish was granted. The level of caring, detail, and consideration given to the planning and execution of the trip was incredible! We are usually “do it ourself” type travelers but after this experience, we won’t do a trip without Jacada again!
