When to visit
The best time to visit the Polar regions is during the summer months, which run from June to September in the Arctic, and November to March in the Antarctic. During this time, the warmer temperatures – between 0°C–10°C (32°F–50°F) – allow the sea ice to melt enough to allow the ships through. The midnight sun creates almost 24 hour daylight and wildlife is more active. You can spot both whales and polar bears throughout the summer in the Arctic, with the same being true for penguins in the Antarctic.

Sealife in Antarctica

Hiking in Iceland
