Our team of travel designers has all the first-hand knowledge needed to create the trip of your dreams.
Colombia’s transformation over the last few decades has been remarkable. Cities are thriving hubs of art and culture, reflecting the country’s resilience and dynamic spirit. Bogotá and Medellín are bursting at the seams with galleries and museums that celebrate creativity. There is so much for you to discover.
The charming towns of Villa de Leyva and Barichara, with their cobbled streets and whitewashed houses, are the perfect tonic after a few days in the capital. Coffee is a defining element of the Colombian experience. Spend some time in the Coffee Triangle learning the secrets behind its caffeine kick. Plantations contour the hills and wax palms soar towards the sky in this beautiful corner of the country.
The north is home to the romantic city of Cartagena, Tayrona National Park and the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. Here, salsa catches on the breeze, peaceful rivers give way to the wild waters of the Caribbean and toucans and hummingbirds flit through the jungle. The magic of Colombia awaits. When to visit Colombia
Colombia is a year round destination, there are different seasons and climates but these don’t typically impact travel experiences. The average daily temperature is 27°c (81°F), and the rainy season is from May to October. If you’re looking for sunny skies and little rainfall, aim for for January. It’s also the best time to go hiking in the north, or explore Bogotá. July is excellent for whale watching and surfing on the Pacific Coast.
