Across the globe there is always a good time to go on a photography safari. Botswana is best visited during the ‘green season’ (November to April) when wildlife is active and the green landscapes contrast against moody skies.
The northern lights in Sweden or Norway can be captured from September to March, which is also ideal for photographing winter landscapes.
In South America, Patagonia is optimum in summer, between October to March. While in Costa Rica, the dry season is from December to April, however there are ample wildlife opportunities during the rainy season, May to November.
For dry hiking trails in Borneo, visit from April to October, to find orangutans.
