The Serengeti is a vast area , of around 12,000 square miles, spread over a number of reserves and areas. It’s most famous residents, the herds of Wildebeest and Zebra that form the great migration, mean that depending on the time of year, you might want to be in a specific part of this great territory.
Central Serengeti is a beautiful part of the Serengeti which plays host to the Great Migration as it makes it way North during May and June and again as it returns South in November and December. It also has permanent water in the area, meaning it’s great for game viewing all year round.
This has meant quite a few camps have been constructed in the area, so we choose the best camps that will try to keep you in more secluded spots.
