Enjoy legendary sealife, layered culture and laidback beaches on a luxury Belize tour

History, culture, wildlife, adventure and a little bit of downtime: a bespoke luxury tour to Belize with Jacada has it all. Sandwiched between Mexico and Guatemala, this small Central American country truly has so much to offer. Our team will design your itinerary around your interests, pairing you with hand-picked accommodations and connecting you with local experts. These guides won’t just show you their country; they’ll share it with you.

With a population of less than 400,000, the country has an easy-going feel and even its most popular sights are usually refreshingly quiet. Once the stronghold of the ancient Maya civilisation, Belize is home to several impressive archaeological sites that transport you back thousands of years. Your luxury Belize tour will be filled with memorable experiences like exploring forest temples carved with ornate hieroglyphs and discovering underground sites like the Actun Tunichil Muknal (Cave of the Crystal Sepulchre) near the Cayo District, with its skeletons, ceramics and stoneware.

Belize is also home to the largest barrier reef in the Western hemisphere allowing for some excellent diving and snorkelling opportunities around the colourful reefs in the warm Caribbean waters near Ambergris Caye. As you dip beneath the surface, look out for hawksbill, loggerhead and green turtles. In turn, the misty mountains and dense jungle are perfect for hiking and ziplining adventures and there are waterfalls to explore, rivers to tube along and cave networks to discover. Turn your attention skywards and you’ll be treated to an array of vibrant avian life, from toucans in the forest canopy to frigate birds along the coast. The wildlife in Belize, in places like Orange Walk, is memorable, so keep an eye out for howler monkeys, jaguars and more.

A compelling blend of history, wildlife and culture, Belize is a dream destination. Contact us to start planning your incredible adventure with our team of travel designers and dedicated concierges, inspired by your passions and their first-hand experience.
