Full day wine tour to Lujan de Cuyo with lunch at Ruca Malen Full day wine tour to Lujan de Cuyo with lunch at Ruca Malen

This full day tour led by your expert guide and has been designed for our guests to sample some of Mendoza’s finest wines in the region known as the "Zona Alta del Rio Mendoza”, paired with an excellent lunch at the Ruca Malén winery.

Boutique wineries tour Boutique wineries tour

During this exclusive tour you will be making visits to small wineries within the Central Valley area with production levels no higher than 300,000 litres per year. Boutique wineries have become a trademark of Mendoza wine country and many people find these smaller wineries more charming than the atmosphere found on some of the larger, production-focused wineries. The personality of each boutique winery is distinctly different from each other, reflecting the personality of the owners who run them. Many are retired foreigners with a passion for wine, while others are Argentines new to the business driven by a similar passion. Others have remained small over many generations and are run by family members who have been in the industry for years.

You will visit three boutique wineries and observe the contrast between traditional wine-making methods and ultra-modern technology used in other properties. There will be a focus on a different part of wine producing at each winery: touring the vineyards, observing productions methods, visiting wine barrel cellars to discover how the wines are aged and finally bottled and ready to go!

You will also be invited to taste wines at each of the properties.

Enjoy an excellent tasting lunch with paired wines at a boutique bodega and you will be returned to your hotel at the end of the day.

Buenos Aires City Tour with La Boca Buenos Aires City Tour with La Boca

Your guide will meet you at your hotel and bring you (with private vehicle) on a fascinating half-day private tour of the elegant turn-of-the-century districts that earned Buenos Aires the soubriquet of the Paris of South America. Including a trip to La Boca district in the South and then up to the charming cobbled alleys and colonial architecture of San Telmo. Along to the Plaza de Mayo, up the leafy Avenida de Mayo towards the imposing grandeur of the Palace of Congress and then on to the historically fascinating Recoleta Cemetery, you will discover the facts, stories and anecdotes that make up the colourful tapestry of the history of Buenos Aires.

Tours can be extended to include la Boca, Shopping, the Colon Opera house etc.

Palace of Congress Palace of Congress

Located on the western side of the Plaza de Mayo, this is the Argentine National Congress and the legislative branch of the government of Argentina, made up of the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies.

Plaza del Mayo Plaza del Mayo

Plaza de Mayo in the central area of Buenos Aires is dominated by the Casa Rosada (Government House), the Nación Bank, the Cathedral and original Parliament House

Recoleta Cemetery Recoleta Cemetery

It might seem strange to visit a cemetery, but Recoleta doesn't fail to impress. Many mausoleums and tombs are the work of famous artists, seventy graves have been declared national monuments, but perhaps the most famous for our visitors will be the tomb of Evita Perón.

La Boca La Boca

This is where the famous Caminito Street lies, scarcely 100 metres long, yet very much an emblematic post-card of the city. Designed by the Italian-Argentine artist Benito Quinquela Martín at a disused rail port terminal just beyond the iron cantilevered Puente de la Boca which bridges the river, it is a short yet busy pedestrian alley of brightly-painted houses which cluster above the cobblestones. The sheets of corrugated-iron shimmer with glossy blues, reds, yellows and greens and recall the original colours of the leftover paint with which the dockworkers painted their homes in the 19th century.

Rojo Tango Show Including Dinner Rojo Tango Show Including Dinner

Enjoy the best Tango Show in town, set in the exclusive environs of the Faena Hotel. The Rojo tango is the smallest and most stylish of tango salons. Your evening includes a three course dinner, wine, and transfers to and from the venue.
