Buenos Aires
Buenos Aires is undoubtedly one of the world’s greatest cities and an important destination on many of our Argentina tours. Centre of the world’s fifth largest economy at the turn of the 20th century, the city features an abundance of classical architecture and tree-lined boulevards reminiscent of its European counterparts.
El Calafate
The glacier region is without doubt one of the country’s most beautiful areas and the highlight of many people’s trip to Argentina. Los Glaciares National Park is located in an area known as the austral Andes near the border with Chile, and is home to stunning mountains, lakes and, of course, glaciers.
Iguazu Falls
As water crashes down around you, filling the air with an almighty roar and a cloud of mist, you can’t help but think this is Mother Nature really showing off. Surrounded by the lush subtropical forest of the Iguazu National Park, the 275 cataracts of the the Iguazu Falls are a truly remarkable sight.
Mendoza

Salta

When to visit
The seasons in Argentina are the reverse of those in the Northern Hemisphere. Spring and autumn are a good time to visit Buenos Aires, which can otherwise be quite sticky and humid. Summer is the only time you can climb the tallest Andean peaks and is the most reliable time of year to visit Tierra del Fuego. Autumn is a great time to visit the wine regions and Patagonia where the beech groves turn rusty red and orange.
