Phuket

Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas

Spread around a lily filled lagoon by the sea, Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas is a luxurious refuge set in a tropical paradise. There are 91 sophisticated private villas, each with their own pool, all large, airy and classically Thai with huge windows, light fabrics and dark woods. Dotted throughout the resort are a number of fine dining options, such as Thai-style tapas and cocktails in The Tree House, individually designed menus and wine in The Tasting Room and seafood barbeque at Sea Fire Salt. Special private dining experiences can also be arranged, or you can learn about the art of Thai cuisine at the cooking school. Explore the stunning coastline and Mai Khao Beach, Phuket’s longest, and the lush forests of Sirinath National Park behind, or venture further afield on boat trips to nearby islands, or tours into the historic Phuket Town. There’s also an excellent spa, tennis courts, a range of water sports to try and bicycles to borrow.

Halong Bay

Bhaya Legend IV

With four cabins on board, the Bhaya Legend IV is perfect for groups of friends and families wishing for a more personal experience of Halong Bay. Explore the limestone islets and emerald waters with a highly flexible private charter catered to your specific requirements and personal interests. Sleeping eight passengers in total, the ship’s crew of captain, chef, deckhand and hostess will be on hand at all times to fulfill your needs. The teak-lined cabins themselves may be modestly sized, but are furnished in an inviting contemporary-Vietnamese style, complete with double or twin beds, crisp linen, hot-water showers and air conditioning. From your comfortable berth, you can engage in a variety of pursuits; kayak alongside local villages, and witness the daily lives of villages from the waters, explore the underwater world with snorkels and scuba equipment and satiate your appetite with an al fresco dinner on your own private beach, before returning to the vessel for sundowners overlooking the bay.

Coastal Cambodia

Royal Sands Koh Rong

As the name suggests, the luxurious surrounds of this Royal Sands Hotel can be found upon the idyllic tropical island of Koh Rong, Cambodia’s second largest island, just to the west of Cambodia’s mainland. The resort boats 67 luxury villas which offer a place of tranquility and relaxation to match that which is found outdoors, on this balmy island. All villas offer wonderful views of the picturesque resort from inside as well as from the villas’ outer decking. Each villa boasts superking beds to ensure your upmost comfort and some even offer undisturbed views of the pristine turquoise ocean from your bed. Canggu

COMO Uma Canggu

With panoramic views over the ocean, COMO Uma Canggu is situated on Bali’s southern coast, and offers guests a taste of beachside living. There are 52 rooms and suites, 55 one- and two-bedroom residences and 12 three-bedroom penthouses to choose from. Decor and interiors, by Japanese-born designer Koichiro Ikebuchi and Milan-based designer Paola Navone, are elegant, light and neat with modern Asian and Italian touches. Soft fabrics, and light, natural hues make for tranquil spaces to unwind when you’re not out exploring. Tuck into a delicious meal at COMO Beach Club, which offers a fresh take on the traditional surf shack. The restaurant is suited to those looking for a casual bite to eat, as well as diners looking for a more refined meal, and boasts an eclectic menu featuring fresh seafood prepared on a wood-fired grill. Langkawi

Four Seasons Langkawi
