    Travel Designer

Ever since I headed off from the UK to embark on a backpacking adventure by myself at the age of 20, travel has been a huge passion of mine. My initial adventures took me to New Zealand, Australia and parts of South East Asia. Experiencing the variety of cultures, food, natural beauty and unique adventures that each place offers ignited something in me, which led to me heading into the travel industry as soon as I returned home.
I have been exceptionally lucky to explore so much of the world and would be hard pushed to say what has been the best experience to date. Sailing the Galapagos, trekking with gorillas in Rwanda, spotting orangutans in Borneo, catching trains through the exceptional landscape of Sri Lanka and cruising through Halong Bay in Vietnam are to name just a few.
Every trip I have ever done has exceeded my expectations of just how remarkable this world is. It is the most wonderful job in the world to be able to help people with igniting their own passion for travel and helping to create those unique and wonderful experiences which will stay with them for life.

    My most memorable trip

    Indonesia

One of my most memorable trips was when I went to Indonesia with my mum back in 2011. Having spent a whole year living in Australia and exploring the wonders of New Zealand, this trip marked a special reunion for us. The experience was truly incredible as it was the first time my mother and I spent such an extended period apart, and the adventure we shared made it all the more extraordinary.

I would love to visit Japan. It is at the top of my bucket list and I will make sure it happens soon! I would love to experience the incredible culture, taste all of the delicious food, make sushi with a sushi master, see the beautiful Mount Fuji and cruise over Lake Ashi, go shopping in Tokyo - my list is endless!

My love for food knows no bounds – whether it's relishing mouthwatering dishes, honing my cooking skills, or exploring vibrant markets. South East Asia, in particular, holds a treasure trove of unforgettable experiences where food takes center stage.

    My top tips

    Gold yacht icon

In Vietnam, visit Lan Ha Bay instead of Halong Bay. The scenery is just as spectacular, but it is way less busy! Lan Ha Bay has a restriction on the number of boats in the area, so you get to enjoy the beautiful scenery without loads of boats disturbing the view.

For those seeking a truly authentic cultural immersion, I highly recommend visiting Luang Prabang in Laos. The essence of Buddhist culture here permeates everyday life, creating a captivating experience like no other.

    Gold sun icon

When visiting the Taj Mahal in Agra, make sure to do both a sunrise and a sunset tour. The play of sunlight on the magnificent structure changes dramatically throughout the day, offering two entirely distinct experiences.

    Food icon

If you're a food enthusiast planning a trip to Japan, make sure to include Osaka in your itinerary! This vibrant city boasts an extraordinary street-food scene that's a must-try for any culinary adventurer.
