Located just outside Virunga National Park, Bukima Camp was originally a base for researchers but is now primarily used for those looking to trek with the majestic mountain gorillas.
The camp consists of six platform tents, all of which feature an adjoining bathroom with running water. The views from the camp are spectacular with Mt. Mikeno to the south and Nyiragongo Volcano across the valley, whose lava lakes create a red glow at night.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included with your stay at Bukima.
