One of the most famous camps in all of Africa, Mombo rightly deserves its reputation due to its remarkable game viewing experience coupled the service and luxury of the camp.
Recently rebuilt in 2018, the camp is made up of nine very spacious and elegantly appointed tents, each built on a raised platform giving fantastic views across the plains.
Set deep in the Okavango Delta, the design of the camp perfectly captures the spirit of its wild surroundings while also providing unparalleled luxury. Each tent comes with a private plunge-pool and ‘sala’ for observing passing wildlife or enjoying the panoramic sunsets. The suites also have an indoor and outdoor shower, a beautifully designed lounge and a plush king-size bed.
The main communal has a small library and a plunge pool to relax during the afternoons. Enjoy delicious meals in the dining area that overlooks the plains.
The camp is committed to conservation, with much of the power provided by a solar farm and a portion of your rates go towards their preservation projects.
The Wilderness/Conservation Purpose Project
This camp is part of a project, which supports the reintroduction of black and white rhino into the wilds of Botswana.
Children in Wilderness
Mombo Camp also supports Children in Wilderness, a non-profit organisation, which aims to facilitate sustainable conservation through leadership development and education of children in Africa.
