I am Kenyan by birth and I live in Nairobi. My love for travel began when I was young. My parents would take us to the coastal part of Kenya to enjoy the sunny sands of Mombasa during the school holidays.

Coming from a country with so much to offer as a tourist destination, I have travelled around Kenya and my favorite place will always be Masai Mara. The experience each time is always different and you get to see so many animals in a few days’ stay. There once I got to see the big 5 in one days game drive, how incredible! One experience that’s hard to forget is when I went to Tsavo National park and as we were on a game drive we came across a herd of elephants. One elephant started walking slowly towards the vehicle but luckily we had a very experienced guide who managed to get us out safely. That taught me how important it is to go with an experienced guide around the parks because they know how the animals behave and how to avoid getting into dangerous situations without a panic. That was quite an adventure for sure!

If I was to choose between wildlife or a beach holiday, I would certainly choose wildlife for the adventure. Working in the travel industry is very exciting, helping others plan their trips is truly fulfilling and also gets me anticipating my next one!
