Days 1–3
Begin in Dhulikhel
Start your journey through Nepal in the authentic, Himalayan hill town of Dhulikhel. You’ll visit the Namo Buddha monastery and stupa and trek past peaceful terraced farms and quaint Nepalese villages. You can also head into the centre of the old town to see a beautiful array of architecture from intricate buildings to ornate Vishnu temples.
As your days come to a close, toast the Himalayan sunset with a bottle of champagne on your private terrace.

In and around Kathmandu Valley
Newari heritage
Ancient cities and temples

Wander the historic streets of Panauti
Set off on a bicycle to Panauti, one of Nepal’s oldest villages, before touring centuries-old Hindu sites. Along the way, you’ll observe traditional Newari culture, homes and the village’s perfectly preserved old town.

Explore UNESCO-listed sites
Your first stop is Bhaktapur, one of the three ancient cities within the Kathmandu Valley. Here, you can observe medieval art and architecture.
Next, you’ll visit Pashupatinath Temple in the city of Kathmandu. It’s one of the holiest temples in the Hindu religion, dedicated to Lord Shiva, one of the three main gods in Hinduism.
Days 3–4
Overnight in Kathmandu
You’ll have one night to relax in your stylish hotel in Kathmandu. In the evening you will be transferred, by a classic Vespa scooter or Enfield motorbike for a fun alternative, to one of the city’s finest restaurants for a delightful evening meal.

Days 4–7
Four days exploring Annapurna
Your next destination is the Annapurna region of the Himalayas, where you’ll marvel at sweeping mountain scenery and explore diverse landscapes. Visit Lo-Manthang, the capital of the Tibetan lost valley city of Mustang, and the home of the region’s king. Manang, a string of seven villages, is also worth seeing for its glistening turquoise lakes alone.

Wonders of Annapurna
Kagbeni
Muktinath
Lo Manthang

Tour Kagbeni, the last village of Lower Mustang
Sitting on a cliff-top above the Kali Gandaki river is Kagbeni. An oasis of green fields among rocky, arid mountains, with the snowy peak of Mt Nilgiri looming grandly behind it, this ancient, partially ruined citadel town, with its narrow alleyways and tunnels is fascinating. Wander past the ancient King’s Palace and visit the 800 years old, brick-red Sayka Gompa.

Journey to Muktinath
Embark on an exhilarating adventure in a sturdy jeep up the mountainside to the sacred shrine of Muktinath, one of the most important pilgrimage sites of Nepal for both Buddhists and Hindus. Every year, thousands of devotees from Nepal, India and Tibet undertake pilgrimages to Muktinath for purification and salvation.

Discover the temples and traditions of Lo Manthang
Visit the medieval city of Lo Manthang and see its four major temples called gompas, set within the old city. Then, learn about the life and culture of the Lo-pa (the people of Lo, many of whom practice polyandry). You may also have the chance to meet the King of the region for an intimate interview. Next, you’ll enjoy a traditional meal before exploring the ancient, walled city and maze of tiny, cobbled streets.
Days 7–8
Retreat to Pokhara
Wind down in the charming lakeside town of Pokhara. You can embark on boat trips across Phewa Lake or try your hand at heart-pounding activities, like tandem paragliding and zip-lining.
You can also hike to the World Peace Pagoda overlooking the Himalayas and visit a Tibetan village, where you can browse traditional handicrafts. At the Gurkha Museum, showcasing the history of Gurkha soldiers, and the Mountaineering Museum, you can learn all about the incredible feats in the world’s highest mountains.

Days 8–9
Return to Kathmandu
Another visit to Kathmandu gives you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the capital’s diverse heritage. You’ll explore various landmarks, such as Kumari Ghar Palace, that dates back to the 18th century, and UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Durbar Square.

Head into the Everest area
Begin your stay in the Everest region at a lodge with a relatively low altitude to help your body acclimatise. You’ll then move to higher lodges for even more spectacular views.
During your time here, you can visit ancient Buddhist monasteries such as Rumijung Monastery, founded by the Sherpa lama Khemp Dorje in the 16th century, and dive into the culture of the hardy Sherpa people and the history of mountaineering in the area.

Venture to the Khumbu Everest region
You’ll be able to explore the Khumbu Everest region at your leisure. Those who prefer a slower pace can simply relax with a picnic while taking in the astounding scenery.

Trek to Tashinga
You have a short, steep climb up out of town before winding around the mountainside on a scenic trail until you reach a chorten (a Buddhist monument), where great views of Everest await. You’ll continue past a quaint village and hike through a lush forest until you reach the small village of Tashinga.

Soar over the Himalayas
Take an unforgettable flight up to the Everest Base Camp by helicopter. At an altitude of 5,364 metres, this legendary location is where mountaineers make their home for months each year as they prepare for the mighty climb up to Mount Everest.
Days 12–14
Search for wildlife in Chitwan National Park
Head deep into Chitwan National Park as you seek out greater one-horned rhinos and Bengal tigers.
Onboard a traditional dugout canoe, float down a tranquil river alongside resident crocodiles and myriad waterbirds. You can then hike through verdant jungle or enjoy a jeep safari across open grassland and forests. You can also visit a neighbouring village to learn about the time-honoured rituals and traditions of Tharu culture.

Days 14–17
Next, set off for Bardia National Park
A safari in the remote corner of Bardia National Park plunges you into the vast wilderness of Nepal’s lowland Terai, situated at the foothills of the Himalayas. It’s the largest and most undisturbed national park in the region.
Beyond thrilling encounters with leopards, tigers and wild elephants, the park is also home to several endangered species, including gharial crocodiles and gangetic dolphins.

Days 17–18
Your adventure ends in Kathmandu
Round out your whirlwind trip through Nepal back in Kathmandu. For one final night, soak up the capital’s electric energy as marketplaces pulse with life, beautifully surrounded by Newari architecture and sacred Hindu and Buddhist sites. Colourful prayer flags flutter in the breeze, as the scent of incense mingles with the clang of ancient temple bells, painting a scene that lingers long after you’ve left.
