When to visit Nepal
The best time to visit Nepal is autumn, from mid-September to November. This is when the weather is best for outdoor activities like hiking, with pleasant temperatures and clear skies. The springtime months of March and April can also be nice, as temperatures are rising but not yet too hot.
June through early September is monsoon season, bringing heavy rainfall and less-than-ideal hiking conditions. The coldest months are December through February, with snowfall likely at higher elevations across Nepal.
