Spend your time relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Bouddi National Park from the comfort of Pretty Beach House. You're ideally located to explore the Australian bush and as well as the stunning coastline, and the Beach House itself is the perfect place to unwind by the pool, in your gorgeous room or in the spa.

Visit some amazing remote wilderness in the Blue Mountains World Heritage area, getting away from typical tourist destinations in a luxury 4WD vehicle. You will see fantastic panoramic escarpments, unique rock formations, deep canyons with ancient rainforest and occasionally kangaroo’s in the Megalong Valley, stopping for short walks en route led by your expert eco guide.

The Barossa Valley is an internationally renowned wine region. You are invited to the winemaker’s laboratory at Penfolds to try your hand at making your own blend of Grenache, Shiraz, and Mourvedre. You will then be taken to the top of Mengler’s Hill where you'll be greeted by a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding countryside and vineyards of Barossa Valley and the greater Barossa wine region.

From here, continue to the village of Angaston and join your wine guide for casual lunch at a local cafe. If you wish, you can also visit Barossa Valley Cheese Company, where many award-winning cow and goats’ milk cheeses are made. The next cellar door visited will be the premium winery of Turkey Flat, where you can sample the traditionally made wines. Here you can also compare their own blend to Turkey Flat’s Grenache, Shiraz, and Mourvedre. To complete the day you will visit the boutique producers of Torbreck Vintners, artisans of exceptional Barossa wines.

Arkaba Conservancy is a 60,000 acre private wildlife conservancy in the Flinders Ranges. Enjoy safaris through this ancient landscape that kangaroos, emus and other abundant wildlife call home. Arkaba's field guides will bring the geological history and pastoral heritage of this region to life, enabling you to fully immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the bush. You can also go fossil hunting and marvel at the ancient rock art from tens of thousands of years ago.

Akaroa is home to the smallest and rarest dolphins in the world, the Hector's Dolphin, and a cruise out on Akaroa Harbour is the perfect way to view these amazing creatures, along with fascinating bird life and other curious and entertaining sea mammals in their natural habitat.

There are a wide range of activities available within the beautiful Ahuriri Valley and beyond, meaning that it's easy to fill your days at The Lindis. Take advantage of one of the top fly fishing locations in the world, or head out into the countryside for some hiking, mountain biking or horse riding. Or perhaps stargazing is more your thing? Capture the Milky Way like you have never seen it before and listen to the sound of silence.

Explore Milford Sounds stunning fiord from the air. Fly the length of Milford Sound past sheer cliffs and gushing waterfalls, out to the Tasman Sea where we land on a wild West Coast beach. In Milford, enjoy a short nature walk and gain that iconic Mitre Peak photo. Enjoy an exhilarating flight past spectacular rivers, valleys and mountains with blue-green ice falls, and land upon Mt Tutoko glacier in the heart of Fiordland National Park.

For the more discerning wine lover, or simply people who prefer the flexibility of a private tour, join your guide for a wine tasting journey to some of New Zealand's most memorable vineyards, at your own pace. Your guides local knowledge and familiarity with the vineyards of Central Otago is at your disposal for an intimate half day experience in a thriving wine region.

The tour includes tastings at four vineyards, typically two in the Gibbston Valley/Queenstown region and two in the Bannockburn/Cromwell region. You'll enjoy a delightful platter lunch at Carrick Winery with a glass of premium matched wine. You'll also explore the history and scenery of the region with a stroll through Old Cromwell Town and a stunning drive through the Kawarau Gorge.

This working sheep station tour - in a comfortable 4-wheel drive vehicle - is an absolute must for all Wharekauhau guests. Bordered by the Rimutaka Ranges and Pacific Ocean, this classic Kiwi Romney sheep station features all the activities that have created New Zealand’s legendary farming heritage, including sheep shearing demonstrations, sheep dogs in action and daily farm events. The tour departs the lodge at 9.30am each morning and lasts roughly 3 hours.

Cool Change is a 54-ft sailing catamaran, offering a totally unique way to experience New Zealand's world-famous Bay of Islands. Enjoy level sailing, all-round visibility and plenty of space, inside and out. Swim, snorkel, kayak, or enjoy nice walks on the islands, or just relax while lunch is served and enjoy the picturesque surroundings

Take a 30-minute (approx) helicopter flight across to Omapere, where you will be met by your local Maori guide. Kupe's (New Zealand's first discoverer) descendants will take you on a guided walk of the largest kauri forest in the world and introduce you to their relationship with Mother Nature, both spiritually and culturally. A highlight of your experience will be an introduction to Tane Mahuta, God of the Forest.

From Omapere, continue to the west coast enjoying low-level views of the world-famous 90 mile beach, before landing at a private airfield near the Cape. Here you will enjoy a tour exploring the top of New Zealand, including the Cape Reinga lighthouse where the Tasman Sea meets the Pacific Ocean. You'll also explore the Te Paki sand dunes where you'll take part in some sand tobogganing fun.

From here, make your way back to the helicopter for a short flight over spectacular and remote scenery such as the white silica sands of Parengarenga Harbour and Great Exhibition Bay, landing at Henderson Bay on the east coast for a leisurely lunch near the beach. Then fly the final leg of the journey home, passing across the stunning east coast.
