Set on a hill overlooking the sea and a large bay, Olinda is one of Brazil’s best preserved colonial towns.

The town is a delight to explore; cobbled streets lined with old but well kept buildings lead to interesting shops and some excellent restaurants. As you might expect of a town surrounded by palms and chilled with a refreshing sea breeze; local life is relaxed and laid back.

The convenient location of Olinda makes it an excellent place to stop in for a night or two as part of your travels.
