Set off the ‘Costa Verde’ close to Sao Paulo Ilhabela is a beautiful and well preserved island paradise. Almost 85 percent of the island is protected with beautiful trails, waterfalls and, of course, stunning beaches.

The small town on the island has some good bars and restaurants meaning the island has a good mix of well preserved nature and sophistication.

This is also the sailing capital of Brazil with yachting and numerous other watersports on offer.
