Luxury South Korea Family Tours made for you

A tailor-made South Korea family holiday

Captivating luxury South Korea family tours

A family trip to South Korea is a brilliant way to experience local traditions and modern city life. In megacity Seoul, you’ll find thousand-year-old palaces and traditional markets alongside sky-high skyscrapers and bright city lights. With your private guide explore diverse neighbourhoods such as Gangnam, Hongdae, Insadong and Bukchon Hanok Village – where traditional Korean houses operate as cultural centres, guesthouses and restaurants.

Beyond Seoul, in the coastal city of Busan you’ll enjoy stunning beaches, fresh seafood markets and the brightly painted hillside homes of Gamcheon Culture Village. In Gyeongju, you’re transported back to the ancient Silla Kingdom through its UNESCO World Heritage sites, royal tombs and temples. And in Jeonju you and your family can stay in a traditional hanok district. Here, within the city, Jeonju Hanok Village gives you the chance to try on hanbok (Korean clothes), sample regional dishes like bibimbap (mixed rice) and explore local craft workshops.

When you travel in spring (March to May), one of the best things to do in South Korea as a family is to stroll city parks, temple gardens and riversides beneath a canopy of pink and white cherry blossom. In early spring, you can also visit Jeju Island for the burning of the daljip, or ‘moon houses’ with K-pop and fireworks. Volcanic Jeju is Korea’s largest island, with pristine beaches, waterfalls and deep underground caves featuring unique lava tubes.

    When to visit South Korea

South Korea experiences distinct seasons with dramatic contrasts, as well as weather that varies by region, from mild coastal cities in the south to cooler mountain areas in the north.

Winter (December–February) brings frigid temperatures and snow (great for winter sports), while summer turns hot and humid with monsoon rains (we don’t generally recommend travelling between June and August). Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) are beautiful times to visit; cherry blossoms transform the landscape in spring, while the autumn leaf season ignites the countryside in red, orange and gold.
