When to visit Malaysia
Malaysia’s tropical climate means year-round hot weather, with average temperatures between 23°C–33°C (73°F–91°F). However, the best time to visit depends on which part you’d like to go to. On the west coast, the rainy season runs from April to October, bringing afternoon showers and thunderstorms. The rains then shift to the east coast from November to February. For beach activities and diving, we recommend visiting each coast during its respective dry season.

November–April
