Laos is the perfect, gentle pause in a wider honeymoon itinerary and a good compliment to the swagger of its neighbours.
The unhurried and charming cultural heartland of Luang Prabang or the secluded Mekong River island of Don Daeng offers an easy going hiatus. Relax in this gentle rolling countryside, exploring elaborate temples, archaeological ruins, exciting waterfalls and cave systems combined with some exceptional hideaway hotels.

Great Service. Very responsive. Lots of attention to detail and little addons to make our holiday a great success.
Everything from the itinerary, to the choice of the hotels, to the local guides was really excellent and contributed to make my 3 weeks in Myanmar and Laos a wonderful experience. I like to travel alone and often don’t use agencies but I think Jacada is definitely worth it!
This is my second trip planned by Jacada. Both trips have been fantastic- wonderful adventures with superb lodging, excellent guides and a mixture of off the beat adventure . I found my travel planner Kate available at all times and she was a wealth of information. She was able to contour our trip to suit us perfectly. I would not hesitate to recommend Jacada to anyone looking for a seamless trip which combines adventure, luxury and attention to detail.
From planning through execution, Jacada did an excellent job on my adventure trip to Thailand,Laos and Cambodia. They even introduced me to a Mekong River cruise which was like icing on the cake. I would use Jacada again for sure.
Must see places are Hoi An and Halong Bay in Vietnam, Luang Prabang in Laos. The crowds around Angkor Wat at sunrise are a pain
Until this recent trip to South East Asia we have always travelled 100% independently, but even by our standards, this was a pretty complicated journey to four countries in just under 4 weeks, involving almost every conceivable form of transportation. More than that, it was to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary, so we decided the stakes and expense were too high for us to go it alone. Kate, Alec and the team at Jacada and their partners at Trails of Indochina, who provided our superb guides- Phi in Vietnam, Sarom in Cambodia and Johnny in Laos and organised all the logistics on the ground, made it seamless and stress free and we wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
