As you embark on exciting experiences, often amid spectacular natural surroundings, you’ll have the chance to connect with each other and the world around you in a meaningful way – while also having a ton of fun.
These journeys can take many forms; think family hiking trips in remote highlands, tropical getaways full of thrilling water sports or classic safaris with an extra dose of adventure. We can organise volcano treks in Guatemala, rafting expeditions on the Zambezi River, cycling tours in Cambodia and much more.

The best time for family adventure travel largely depends on your destination. We generally recommend travelling during the drier, sunnier months, so you can make the most of outdoor activities. Shoulder seasons can also be ideal for family trips with smaller crowds and pleasant weather conditions.
Some places don’t have clearly defined dry and rainy seasons; others experience different weather depending on which part of the country you’re visiting. For example, most of Costa Rica has its dry season from December to April. And the Caribbean coast is usually least rainy in September and October, which are among the wettest months elsewhere.
To navigate these nuances and seasonal differences, speak with a travel designer who knows your destination well. They can help you choose the best time to travel according to where you’re going, what you want to do and any other criteria specific to your family.
