When to go

England is a year-round destination, but spring and autumn are particularly pleasant. The gardens and countryside are bursting with flowers and in the autumn the trees start to turn warm shades of red and orange. Rain can make an appearance at any time of year, but showers are usually fairly light and don't last long. Although winter can be cold, many cities have exhibitions and events around Christmas that are worth experiencing.
