    Europe Concierge

My love for travel has gone hand-in-hand with my passion for language and culture for as long as I can remember. I never expected it would become my career path —  I was sure I would be a veterinarian! However, I love using this passion, and my background in linguistics, English translation, biology and wildlife conservation to learn more about the world around me every day. But most of all, I love using my knowledge and experience to help others to do the same.

    Europe

    My most memorable trip

    The Amalfi Coast

I celebrated my birthday on the Amalfi Coast a few years ago – a bunch of my friends flew in and we explored the region all week. It was magical, and such a scenic place for celebrating with loved ones.

    On my bucket list

    Namibia

Namibia is top of my bucket list. Beyond the otherworldly landscapes and desert dunes in Sossusvlei, I can't wait to explore the new Wilderness Desert Rhino Camp. Black rhinos are so endangered and the work this camp does towards their conservation is incredibly important.

    My favourite trip

    A Luxury Alpine Train Journey

My favourite trip has got to be A Luxury Alpine Train Journey through Switzerland. I love exploring Europe by train, but especially Switzerland – the Swiss really know how to make train travel luxurious. This trip explores some of my favourite cities in the country, with some of the most scenic train routes through snow capped mountains and lush green valleys.

    My favourite hotel

    The Chedi Andermatt

The Chedi Andermatt. If I could live in this hotel, I would. The staff are wonderful, the spa is amazing, the hotel always has something fun going on and of course, the surrounding nature of Andermatt is just spectacular.

    My top tips

When in Switzerland, you must try fondue. Don't drop your bread in the caquelon – it's bad luck!

Be prepared to cover your knees and shoulders in Italian cathedrals: bring a shawl or scarf, and wear long pants or skirts/dresses when visiting.

When in Greece, don't miss the opportunity for a sunset cruise. They are incredible.

In Scandinavian culture, there is no such thing as bad weather, only improper clothing. Use our packing lists to be prepared for your journey, no matter the weather.
