Overview
Situated on Sentosa Island amid lush rainforests, Capella Singapore offers luxurious seclusion with views of the turquoise South China Sea. From elegantly restored buildings, part of its architectural design inspired by tanah merah (translating to ‘red earth’ in Malay), 30 acres of neat lawns pan out, where resident peacocks ramble between old trees and thought-provoking sculptures. These gardens meet soft sand at the estate’s base, opening to the beautiful Palawan Beach.
Accommodations here are set across a collection of rooms, suites, villas, residences and manors. Subtle hints of Asian culture embellish their interiors, focused on sophisticated modern styling. They extend to personal outdoor pockets, some to rooftop Jacuzzis and others to plunge pools, inviting you to privately unwind while looking to the glistening sea ahead or the surrounding bottle-green foliage. For sheer indulgence, stay in a manor. The Capella Manor is tucked away at the estate’s edge, with plenty of space for spreading out, featuring a sun-soaked terrace.
Dining at Capella Singapore is a varied affair. There’s wholesome Italian cuisine, contemporary Cantonese fare and local dishes, like Singaporean laksa (spicy noodle soup) and bak kut teh (spiced pork soup). You’ll also find several nooks for sipping sunset cocktails; kick back beside one of three pools with superb views over the sea.
To dive into the local culture, you can enjoy many curated activities: learn about Singapore‘s Peranakan community and how to play Mahjong or pick fresh ingredients from a ‘wet market’ alongside a chef. Auriga Spa also offers holistic therapies using traditional techniques to soothe the body, mind and soul.

Overview
Built in 1895 along the Singapore River, The Warehouse Hotel was part of the Straits of Malacca trade route. Back then, the area was a hotbed of secret societies, underground activity, and liquor distilleries.
While much of that history has since faded, the hotel has been meticulously restored into a modern 37-room independent hotel, which still focuses on the local heritage and culture in the area. Here, guests are offered thoughtful hospitality with historically-detailed rooms, classic local dishes and craft cocktails in the vibrant neighbourhood of Robertson Quay.
The hotel’s signature restaurant Po offers refined Singaporean dining and the menu is a loving revival of the flavours of days gone by. It celebrates the richness of Singaporean dishes and flavours with a contemporary touch. The Lobby Bar also pays tribute to the building’s heritage with a cocktail menu that is split into themes representing different eras in the area’s history.
