Growing up in London with parents who were very happy to take a small child on any number of exciting trips, travel was an inevitable passion from a young age, but it was a 6 week trip to New Zealand at age 18 that really fueled a love for seeing the world.
Although I have travelled to every continent and would struggle to choose a favourite country (I think I give a different answer every time I’m asked!), the diversity and variety of culture, language, scenery and food in Europe is something that has always grabbed my attention.
I have been lucky enough to scuba dive with whale sharks in Thailand, take the iconic hike to Machu Picchu, camp on the side of Lake Nakuru, see wild grizzly bears in Canada and stay in a castle in Ireland, and am constantly planning the next adventure!
My love for languages and different cultures has shaped every trip I have done and I am always happiest engaging with locals and experiencing the most authentic elements of a place!
