Luxury travel to the Otavalo Area

The Heart of Ecuador's Traditional Culture

The centre of Ecuadorian craftmanship, Otavalo is the place to experience traditional Ecuadorian culture. The artisans’ market here is world renowned and a good place to pick yourself up some excellent souvenirs. The city’s residents are proud of their culture, many dressing in traditional attire.

Furthermore the countryside that cradles the city between two snow-capped volcanoes is incredibly scenic and is just a few hours drive north of Quito, and pleasantly rural in pace.

There are a number of good Haciendas in the surrounding area which offer charming comfort as well as some wonderful local activities, for you stop, relax and really enjoy the idyllic surrounds and cultural life of the town.

When to go

Otavalo can be visited all year round, though the altitude means that it can be cool at any time of year.
