Bangalore, otherwise known as Bengaluru, is the capital city of Karnataka state and one of the primary cities in India’s south with a population only surpassed by Mumbai and Delhi.

It is the heart of India’s burgeoning tech industry – sometimes referred to as the Silicon Valley of India – and the last decade or so has seen incredible growth and development. It’s distinctly modern cosmopolitan air twinned with a pleasant year-round climate make it one of the most liveable cities in the country.

While it may lack the heritage sites and star attractions of other destinations, it has retained some lovely green spaces and striking Victorian-era architecture and is a great place for dining, nights out and shopping.
