Pristine beaches, historic cities and sublime street food
The sheer variety of landscapes and experiences across the Philippines makes this archipelago nation exceptionally varied. By the very nature of its geography, its plentiful white-sand beaches are a major draw, with over-water villas offering a chance to snorkel straight from your room in luxurious coastal resorts.
Reefs teem with colourful fish, octopuses and seahorses, and boat trips skim the coastline in search of whale sharks, giant manta rays and sea turtles. But beyond the beaches lies a country with myriad personalities. The frenetic urban sprawls of Manila and Cebu City offer traditional jeepney rides, a thrilling way to see it all. While the bustling jungles of Bohol and the swamps, rivers and waterfalls of sedate Siargao are a fantastical place to get away from it all.
Fragrant Filipino food abounds throughout this country, with sweet, sour and salty flavours coming together to create moreish dishes designed to be shared. Our expert local guides can recommend where to try these delicious meals, typically at street food stalls in the city or over fresh fish on the coast.
With over 7,000 enticing islands, the Philippines has adventures for all kinds of travellers, be it hiking, diving or simply relaxing on pristine beaches, so get in touch with our team of expert travel designers to start planning today.

When to visit
The best time to visit the Philippines is between December and April, when the skies are clear and the seas stay calm – perfect for island hopping and lounging on the beach. The country enjoys warm weather all year round, but with some changeable conditions outside of the peak season from June to November. Travelling out of season offers a chance to see the islands and beaches at their quietest, but you should expect occasional rains.
Between July and September, typhoons are common in the Philippines, making these the quietest months to travel. Our local guides and teams on the ground will always find a way to work around whatever the weather chooses to do.
