Exploring the South African Winelands is a common weekend activity for me. As a local, I tend to steer clear of the ‘touristy’ estates and I have found quite a few favourites so far.

Passionate about Africa and everything unique it has offer, my love for nature and culture comes in the form of travel, nature conservation and beekeeping.

Travel Designer

As a keen traveller, I have an intimate knowledge of South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Tanzania, Namibia and southern Mozambique, as well as Uganda, Rwanda, and even Virunga National Park in DR Congo.

Travel Designer

I was born in Tanzania and grew up in Kenya, where I developed a genuine love of the people, landscapes and wildlife of this beautiful country.

Travel Designer

Some of my most memorable travel experiences include kayaking in Antarctica, horse-back riding in El Calafate in Argentina, gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda, climbing Africa’s highest mountain Kilimanjaro and getting up close and personal with polar bears in arctic Canada.

Travel Designer

Over the past 10 years, I have reported from nearly 70 countries, including Greenland, Brazil, Namibia, South Africa, Kenya, Bhutan, Nepal, the Seychelles, Bali, Thailand, and elsewhere around South-East Asia.

Born to parents who had travelled and lived in Eastern and Southern Africa, their exciting stories ignited a passion for exploration.
