Where to go on a luxury rainforest safari
Australia

When to plan a luxury rainforest safari
The best time for a rainforest safari depends on the destination and the wildlife you want to see. During the dry months, forest trails tend to be less muddy, making walks and wildlife tracking more comfortable. Rainy seasons bring vibrant green landscapes and can coincide with seasonal wildlife activity.
In Borneo, May to September is a great time for orangutan viewing. In the Congo, gorilla trekking is possible year-round, with lower rainfall usually from January to February and June to September.
Costa Rica’s wildlife viewing is possible year-round. Monkeys, sloths and toucans are among the species you may spot. The green season, from May to November, is a great time to observe nesting sea turtles in places such as Tortuguero and the Osa Peninsula.
