Hot air ballooning over the Teotihuacan Pyramids
This guided aerial adventure offers breathtaking bird’s-eye views of the ancient “City of the Gods”, once the most important and largest city in pre-Aztec central Mexico. At its peak nearly two thousand years ago, this magnificent city sprawled across eight square miles and housed an estimated 125,000 to 200,000 people.

Market visit and cooking class
Experience a culinary journey with an internationally trained private chef. After your hotel pickup, you’ll explore a traditional market together, learning about Mexican mercados while selecting fresh, seasonal ingredients from local vendors. Then you’ll prepare a meal during a hands-on cooking class, before sitting down family-style to eat.

Cruise Xochimilico
Famous for its network of canals and brightly painted trajineras (traditional boats), the UNESCO World Heritage site of Xochimilico is cheerful chaos, with mariachi bands and flower vendors drifting past and hawkers paddling up with ice-cold cervezas and sizzling quesadillas. Float along with an expert guide, learning about the Aztec’s ingenious technique for growing food on the fertile riverbeds, known as chinampas.
Days 4–6
San Cristobal and the Chiapas highlands
In the mountains of Chiapas province, San Cristobal de las Casas has pastel-coloured houses lining cobbled streets, plus churches, markets and charming cafes. The surrounding Mayan villages help make this one of Mexico’s most ethnically diverse areas, and you’ll gain a real insight into Indigenous communities and highland life.
