Sukau Rainforest Lodge
A haven for wildlife lovers
Sukau Rainforest Lodge is nestled on the banks of the Kinabatangan River, one of Asia’s most important waterways. The eco-lodge offers guests the chance to experience the incredible diversity of flora and fauna while working hard on initiatives focussed on conservation, community development and sustainable tourism.
Accommodation at the lodge is in the form of rooms and villas, both traditional in design but with everything you need for a comfortable stay in the jungle. There is an on-site restaurant and lounge where you can enjoy local and international food and refreshments with spectacular views.
The lodge has locally made wooden boats for exploring the waterways as well as a 1500ft long boardwalk from where you can spot some of the rainforest’s famous wildlife such as orangutans, probiscus monkeys and the Bornean gibbon.
