My Wife and I normally do our own self driving tours around the world but decided to celebrate our 20th anniversary in South America with the help of Jacada travel.
It turned out to be the absolutely correct choice as Jacada produced a fantastic itinerary for us.
We had a blast of a time in Lima, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca and Chile.
Jacada also managed to secure hard to get reservations at the TOP restaurants in the world like Central and Maido.
Every hotel we stayed at was TOP notch and we had private guides with us at EVERY stage of our 18 day holiday, including helping us check into all our hotels plus checking in for ALL our flights.
Yes, the prices are not exactly cheap but for what we got, it was TOTALLY worth it.
Would ABSOLUTELY recommend Jacada if you are looking for a private tour in South America.
This was our first experience with Jacada and we could not be more impressed. Jacada created and executed an amazing trip to Peru for 3 of us. All travel arrangements and transitions were seamless. More than that, the people who greeted us and managed the reservations etc., weren’t just efficient, they were genuinely gracious both enlightening our travel experience and making us feel immediately welcome and at ease. The hotel choices were top notch, each with special qualities, such as Sol at Luna’s horse stables and magnificent Sacred Valley setting. The private guides not only knew their subjects but, but came to know us and our personal areas of interest. All of the guides were appealing individuals and we enjoyed our time with them immensely. We feel the work done ahead of the trip by Lily, Berni and others at Jacada laid the groundwork for all this success. Their pre trip consultation was excellent. We thank them for a truly great Peruvian experience. How can you not appreciate finding personal notes from your travel person when you arrive at a new destination?
Our trip to South Africa was amazing! Everything was so well planned and we were able to see so much in just a week! It truly felt like every detail had been covered and that we were taken care of from the minute we arrived to the minute we left.
Other than few glitches the trip and scheduled tours were very good
The drivers and guides were punctual and nice only few guides were not fluent in English and difficult to understand.

Our first time to travel with Jacada. They made the planning easy and we were lucky we used them because there were several travel and health issues (not the fault of Jacada) that occurred and they made adjustments to our schedule to accommodate those issues. We would recommend their services to all!
Our holiday in Sicily was the first time we had booked through Jacada. They were excellent. The itinerary they developed for us, a party of six, was a good blend of cultural visits to explore the fascinating history of Sicily and more leisurely pursuits such as a day out on the water and a wine tasting. We had a number of excellent guides and our driver for the week was superb. All in all we had a great week and Jacada and their local partner in Sicily did a great job for us.
Our Greece trip was amazing , Jacada has met all the expectations of a luxury travel company . The service they provided was impeccable , from the agent that meets you at the airport and takes you through security ,to the luxury accommodations and transportation , the very knowledgeable and friendly tour guides they set us up with . Two weeks back from an amazing bucket list trip to South Africa and Zambia and I can’t stop gushing about it. This trip exceeded my every expectation. Em from Jacada Travel curated a perfect trip – from the hotel selections, tour activities (including a picnic on Table Mountain (our Cape Town tour guide Terry was knowledgeable and wonderful) to hand written notes and a surprise birthday safari birthday celebration. The lodge and rangers were excellent. No detail was omitted and I love the sunset cocktails! The one annoyance (and not a major issue) were the mosquitoes in the hotel in Zambia. I am looking forward to another African safari next year planned by Em! Lovely!

Thanks to Jacada- Jacob and Romanet team- fantastic job as all transfers, guides, drivers, hotels and restaurants were an A plus!!! We spent 8 nights including Lima, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Cusco. Highlights in Sacred Valley were Chinchero, Moray, picnic lunch and Ollantaytambo ruins – Machu Picchu highlights were the train ride up, hike to Sungate at sunrise and mountain hike and citadel ruins- Cusco highlights were Pisac ruin hike, Amaru Community Lunch and Hotel Monasterio- Lima highlight was cooking class with Heine Harold- 555 Catalina and Hotel B in Barranco. Last but not least learning all about the Incas and their amazing accomplishments in their 100 year period. Thanks again Jacada!! See you next year!
Incredible Vacation to Switzerland
We worked with Alex to design an amazing two week holiday through spectacular Switzerland. Everything went off without a hitch! Extraordinary trip of Scotland. Done the way we wanted: private guide, professional driver, top notch hotels and restaurants, special points of interest to us (architecture, my wife’s Scottish ancestors point of major interest). Once in a lifetime trip. Best trip either of us have ever taken. Planning was meticulous and exactly as requested. Expensive, but hard to beat!

Exceptional work on every level. Alex and the Jacada team planned us a spectular family vacation. Every detail was handled, which on a multi-city trip made a huge difference. We couldn’t be happier with our experience.
We used Jacada to plan a 3 week honeymoon in Southeast Asia and the Maldives. Our advisor was very responsive, listened to our needs and tailored a package that fit all our requests to our budget. We were very happy with the logistics and hotel selections. Our advisor also put us in touch with a great aviation specialist to help with our long haul flights.
We had only three real issues. First, attention to detail was lacking in certain respects. Our names weren’t correct on several of our reservations, for example, including printed materials meant to be keepsakes. Or we were told our villa would be at the end of an area, when in fact it was in the middle. Second, while our local guides were all very nice, the tour options themselves were not worthwhile; very perfunctory. I’d not recommend any of the city tours, and we cancelled the one planned for our second city as a result. Lastly, both our advisor and concierge were away during our trip, so when issues arose, they were dealt with by whoever happened to be covering at that time, rather than someone who knew us or our preferences.
Susann and Berni planned the best Galapagos/Ecuador vacation for us. The boat was top notch, transportation was superb, and the hotels were some of the nicest in which we have stayed.
