Silver Cloud Expedition

Reflections of Booth Island, Antarctica

The most luxurious way to discover Antarctica

After a sophisticated conversion that essentially makes her a brand-new ship, the Silver Cloud Expedition cruises the oceans of the world as one its most luxurious expedition vessels in its class with an unmatched crew to passenger ratio.

Suites range in size from a comfortable 22m2 to a sprawling 122m2, all of which feature butler service to help you unpack and plan your daily adventures. Four out five suites include a veranda, meaning you can watch a breaching whale or a few cavorting penguins without leaving your room.

Guest space is limited to just 200 passengers in polar waters, meaning that with her 18 zodiacs and a team of 19 handpicked passionate and dedicated experts – including marine biologists, geologists and ornithologists – shore excursions are shared in small groups of no more than 14 people.

There are five on board dining options, with fine dining at Champagne to pasta in Le Terrazza, convivial meals in the Main Restaurant, eating out under stars at the Hot Rocks grill or private dining in your cabin. Also on board is a state of the art lecture theatre (lectures can also be live-streamed to your suite), library and spa while broad sweeping decks with multiple open spaces and a swimming pool complete this distinctive expedition vessel.
