Bonito Villa in Brazil sits on a private farm outside Bonito, where the clear, swimmable Rio Formoso flows through the grounds. Designed for families and groups, up to 12 people can stay in the villa’s rooms. There’s direct access to the river and views in every direction from eight different decks. One section of the river is shallow enough for children to swim, while another is ideal for floating downstream. There is also a riverside dining area with a traditional wood-fired stove for long lunches or relaxing dinners by the water.
The villa includes six suites, a private swimming pool, gym, massage room, Jacuzzi and sauna. Your dedicated team includes a caretaker, cook, a kitchen assistant and two housekeepers who will look after the villa throughout your stay. For dining, there is a full kitchen, plus a barbecue and pizza oven for relaxed meals with family and friends. Toucans, parrots and monkeys are regular visitors around the house, particularly at sunrise and sunset.
Bonito is the gateway town, located around 20 minutes away, offering easy access to the rest of Brazil. You can spend the day exploring the Blue Lake Cave, floating along the Rio da Prata or discovering the wider landscapes and rich biodiversity of Mato Grosso do Sul before returning to your own stretch of the Rio Formoso for an afternoon swim or an evening beside the pool.
