A treasure hunt through the Louvre
All ages can truly engage with the Louvre’s art works and architecture on a treasure hunt and bespoke personal tour. With a guide, travel through French, Renaissance Italian, Ancient Greek and Roman collections, asking questions along the way. Follow clues leading to an educational prize, hidden somewhere beneath the Louvre’s glass pyramid skylight.

Visit Musée de l’Orangerie with a personal art teacher
The Musée de l’Orangerie houses Claude Monet’s Water Lilies along with pieces by Picasso, Matisse and Renoir. On an engaging and entertaining visit with a private art teacher, you’ll learn about impressionist traditions and techniques. Spend time in the oval rooms designed to showcase Monet’s paintings, then take a painting workshop to try out the techniques yourself.

A hands-on chocolate workshop
The Parisians are famed for their food, and sampling Parisian confectionery is a delicious way to discover it for yourself. During this bespoke workshop, you’ll delve in the world of the chocolatier. Craft chocolate bears and multi-coloured lollipops using fèves (flat discs or buttons) from renowned chocolatier, Valrhona, then create a customised family chocolate bar you can keep (and eat).
Days 4–8
Explore the villages and beaches of the French Riviera
Few can be immune to the charms of the French Riviera, or Côte d’Azur. This golden coastline joins up seaside resorts with captivating towns and villages that perch on hilltops and cling to cliffsides.
Over four days, you and your family can delve into communes like Biot, a fortified medieval village whose cobbled lanes house art, pottery and glass studios. Take a sensory journey through the sights and scents of Opio, surrounded by heather and pine, olive and cork oak trees. The vertiginous village has a microclimate that helps it to grow jasmine and roses for the perfume industry.
Combine days of exploring with time relaxing on soft sand and strolling around seaside towns. Cannes’ palm-lined Boulevard de la Croisette links together sandy beaches, boutiques and fine-dining restaurants. Saint-Raphaël, backed by red cliffs and mountains thick with forest, combines a history-filled old town and harbour with kid-friendly beaches with shallow entryways.
