Set in the charming, whitewashed village of Naouss on the island of Paros, with the clear blue Aegean sea all around, lies the Cosme hotel.

Close to the main hotel is The Farm, another venue to be explored. At The Farm guests are invited to experience a traditional ‘bostani’ (kitchen garden), vegetable fields, open kitchen cooking, private dining and the chance to learn about local, seasonal ingredients. The hotel itself offers its own indoor restaurant with huge windows and doors that open out to the gardens and with sea views. There’s an atmospheric bar with loungers for total relaxation as you sip your drinks, a secret garden and courtyard and the cuddle puddle. The cuddle puddle is a wooden tipi that sits within the dunes to capture the island’s signature, glowing sunsets.

The hotel was built in 1874 and is full of old-world charm. Each of its 320 rooms and suites are beautifully styled, with antique furnishings, chandeliers and traditional tiled floors.

With such spectacular views, you’ll want to head up to the rooftop pool and bar. Seeing the Acropolis illuminated at night is a truly spectacular sight so make sure you try one of their signature cocktails and enjoy the sparkling lights of the city.

The cellar is filled with over 3,000 bottles of wine and it’s well worth enjoying a drink at Alexander’s Bar which features an original 19th-centuty tapestry depicting Alexander the Great entering Gaugamela.
