Sophisticated Boutique Sanctuary on the V&A Waterfront

$$$$$

Facilities & services

  • Six suites
  • Heated outdoor swimming pool
  • Spa and gym

A very elegant boutique hotel in what once was the grand residence of the harbour engineer, the Dock House sits in a prime position next to the Timeball Tower, and all six of its suites looks out onto the city’s second most iconic landmark (after Table Mountain), the V&A Waterfront.

Amidst the bustle of the designer ateliers and boutique stores of the Waterfront, the Dock House has created a sleek and elegant sanctuary with a central lawn to dine out on, take a dip in the pool, and which commands superb views of Table Mountain. The décor throughout is a modern take on traditional neoclassical furniture and style, with neutral dove-grey tones, sparkling chandeliers, and minimal luxury. Each, very spacious suite has a balcony overlooking the Waterfront and the grand suite even had its own garden. With a total of just six rooms, the whole property can in fact be hired for exclusive use.

The service is attentive, the stay is intimate and impeccable, and there is a state of the art spa for some serious indulgence.
