A New Beginning

Effective immediately, Wilderness Safaris is delighted to announce that the Jacada Travel brand will be joining the Wilderness Safaris brand family in pursuit of authentic, responsible travel.

Founded in 1983, Wilderness operates more than 50 of Africa’s premier safari camps with an outstanding reputation for service, guiding, and privileged access to the most pristine, diverse ecosystems in Sub-Saharan Africa. Proceeds from the safari experiences contribute to the conservation of  more than 2.3 million hectares and fund ongoing scientific research, as well as ecological restoration.  Learn more about Wilderness Safaris >

Founded in 2008, Jacada Travel designs once-in-a-lifetime journeys for travellers who value authenticity. With bespoke trips all over the globe, Jacada crafts travel experiences that foster positive impacts and lifelong connections. “Jacada is pleased and proud to be joining the brand family ofWilderness Safaris, our longtime ally in sustainable luxury travel,” said Alex Malcolm, founder of Jacada.

The benefits of the Jacada brand joining the Wilderness Safaris’ brand family are threefold:

Added stability.  Wilderness Safaris is strong, stable and has been a reputable leader in personalised luxury travel experiences for nearly 40 years. The organisation’s established history brings added security to the Jacada brand and to our travellers. Thanks to this support, we will now be reaching out to Jacada customers with booked travel by telephone in the coming weeks to review the details of their trips.

Global destinations. While Wilderness Safaris has primarily focused on Africa to-date, the Jacada brand is renowned for planning unforgettable journeys across the planet. Guests will continue to be offered travel experiences globally.

Greater commitment to sustainability. A portion of revenue will go towards supporting the considerable conservation and rural economic development efforts of Wilderness Safaris

“The Jacada brand joining Wilderness Safaris is an example of the creative, positive outcomes that Wilderness Safaris is seeking out during this time of great change for the travel industry,” said Keith Vincent, CEO of Wilderness Safaris. “Welcoming the Jacada brand to our family is a silver lining in what has been a dark period for international travel.”
