Rebecca and Angela were exactly who you would want to entrust with your important family vacation. All of us are busy and can only get together once a year, so it’s a big deal when we do. We left the planning in the capable hands of Jacada, and it’s a good thing we did, because they delivered a spectacular time that exceeded all of our expectations.
Arrival - slightly less smooth than it should’ve been, only because our original flight was canceled. Jacada adjusted accordingly, reacting quickly to get us to Kruger.
Kruger - An unforgettable safari par none. Even though we wavered on our plans and missed the opportunity to book at our desired lodge, Rebecca understood how important this was to us and shifted the entire itinerary to make sure we were able to get a reservation. I’m not sure what kind of magic she pulled, but I wouldn’t have wanted to stay anywhere else. Rebecca also gave us the suggestion of surprising one of our family members for his birthday with a breakfast in the bush, a one-of-a-kind experience we would’ve missed out on if it weren’t for Rebecca’s astute guidance.
Cape Town - Really charming city, and we stayed right on the waterfront. Angela provided some excellent dinner suggestions that injected some culture into our trip. Our tour guide was excellent, proving knowledgeable and friendly.
Overall, I was truly pleasantly surprised at the trip. Typically after a week, I can feel a tinge of homesickness; during this trip arranged by Jacada, I felt none at all.
My wife and I just had an amazing trip exploring the wonders of Morocco. Thanks to Jacada, we were set up with an amazing driver and tour guide who were clearly focused on ensuring we had the best experience possible. The accommodations were spectacular, the information given by our guide was extremely interesting and insightful, and the transportation to and from cities and sites was safe and comfortable. We fell in love with Morocco thanks to Jacada!!
In general, we had a fine experience working with Jacada. The plans that we put together with Jacada worked quite well - all flights went smoothly, we were greeted at each site and transferred to hotels efficiently, the arranged tours were valuable and generally enabled us to appreciate the varied regions of the country that we visited, and the hotel bookings consistently met high expectations. There were a few glitches that we wished had been anticipated and this prevents us from giving 5 stars.

It would be hard to recommend Jacada more enthusiastically. Keith Jarman worked patiently with us to help craft a spectacular, almost three-week trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. There was not one hitch on our visit. The hotels were lovely and the guides, informative and helpful. Every car that met us carried cold water and cool face cloths to help us battle the brutal heat. We may not have been the easiest clients to work with because we had specific concerns about this trip. Keith worked diligently and produced a fantastic agenda. We also found hand-written welcome notes from him at each hotel we visited--a really nice touch, for which we were grateful.
I used Jacada Travel to plan our family trip to Costa Rica. It was perfect and the entire team at Jacada was amazing. Lily panned an amazing adventure that was exactly what I asked for and Bernie and the entire group in Costa Rica were so helpful and accomodating in making the trip happen without a single problem. Byron did an excellent job planning the trip with our limited time frame to maximize our time out viewing animals. All connection details were well-thought-out and follow-up while we were on the trip was well-done, including a message from Byron at each location. Came home with fabulous photos and the desire to return!

The trip Emily & Jacada booked for us in Rio on New Years was nothing short from spectacular. It was the best New Years eve we have ever had the privilege of experiencing. Not our first Jacada trip, and definitely not our last. World class.

Everything turned out almost exactly as advertisied - in some cases it was better! There were few if any "bumps in the road" while we were away, and the response from the local contacts was immediate and professional. My suggestions apply to all that took place prior to leaving: 1. the Jacada Black Book was too generic to be of real use, and heavy (we were traveling carry on). It should be customised to each trip. 2. The final itinerary and travel tips arrived too late to be of real use - it can take time to get foreign currency and the right clothing and I would not leave that to the last week prior to leaving. They should arrive 6 weeks before departure at a minimum. 3. Pertinent detailed information (length of tour etc.) about some tours was provided once arrived - had we known that information beforehand we might have packed differently/chosen different tours.
Jacob and his team developed the trip of a life time. He spent time understanding what my daughters and I were interested in doing in Peru. He helped us create the perfect itinerary. He and his team were available throughout our trip in case we wanted to modify any of the details. He had team members on the ground who were efficient, considerate, and who took care of everything. It made the trip very easy and added to our enjoyment. I can't wait to plan my next trip with Jacada!
Our Iceland trip was amazing! Another piece of travel design art!
As a result, Iceland got a sweet spot in our hearts. We will go back there for sure, may be even not once. So, more work for Jacada!

Our family had an unforgettable trip to Patagonia and Iguazu Falls thanks to Jacada Travel! Especially our agent Susann Pietschmann, we had been working on this trip since February 2018. She professionally customized our trip from beginning to the end. Their Travel Concierge Berni De Luca, she helped us with every step and detail, she even answered my emails on weekends! My experience with Jacada Travel has been nothing short of spectacular. The combined efforts of Keith Jarman in London and Gloria To in Hong Kong provided my wife and myself with an experience of a lifetime. No details were left to chance with all transfers, tours, and reservations being meticulously planned and arranged. The Jacada over the top moment for me was my surprise private birthday dinner planned by Keith and Gloria in the Anantara Hoi An. I would not hesitate to use Jacada’s services again and would heartily recommend them to anyone needing a bespoke experience handled with consummate courtesy and professionalism.
Everything worked exactly as promised. We had exceptional guides and excellent hotels (one was noisy though). I felt that our trip advisors were very attuned to making sure that we were able to do all the activities we requested and were able to make good suggestions when we did not have plans.

Five Star Honeymoon
Everyone at Jacada put a truly amazing amount of thought and effort into planning the honeymoon of our dreams. Working with Jacob, we had numerous calls to understand what specifically we were looking for and he provided information, suggestions and specific recommendations for our three week trip. When unforeseen problems happened, Jacada responded immediately with their in-country team to get us back on track. We'll 1000% be coming back to use Jacada again in the future!
I had been on the search for travel experts. This search spanned over many months but for multiple reasons, it continued on until I came upon Jacada Travel. I was initially drawn in by their website’s aesthetics and its ease of use. Everything was very cohesive, professional in appearance. I was also attracted to the fact that they organize travel to worldwide destinations, whereas most travel agents specialize in one specific region of the world. I decided to submit an inquiry and from there, everything took off. I never looked back. Within a short period of time, Susann Pietschmann contacted me. She was amazing in multiple ways. I never felt pressured to commit to this trip. She was professional, organized. She always followed up and remembered everything I said or suggested. With an 8 hour time difference, she somehow always managed to contact me via phone or email. Did I mention that Susann is amazing? Ha.
Anyway, back to the trip. We went to Ecuador/Galapagos. She sent me multiple itineraries, each one tailored more to my preferences. I had done my own research on which cruise vessel I wanted to voyage so she booked it and finalized it for me. She provided suggestions for us based on our timeline. I chose from her recommendations, and they planned everything. All costs were combined and submitted to Jacada Travel, versus multiple vendor for entrance fees, domestic flights, hotels, etc. They tailored our payment plan based on our preferences. Before I got in touch with Jacada Travel, I was attempting to book everything on my own. I’m not sure how Jacada Travel makes their money, but their prices were pretty comparable to the prices when I was organizing it on my own.
Closer to our trip date, they reached out via phone and email to ensure we were set. Bernie was our local contact for the trip. She was also very helpful. They also mailed us an information package. I was so impressed with this package! It was nicely bound and super swank. I still have it as a souvenir from my experience with Jacada Travel.
All the suggestions I received from Jacada Travel were top notch, great quality. I especially loved our hotel. Our tour guide was very professional and helpful. The private transportation between all our destinations were all luxurious.

I did much research before choosing Jacada Travel for our trip to Japan. Kate Herz was my contact and she was extremely helpful and a true pleasure to work with. There was a big time difference since I am in the US and she is in London but we managed to get a lot accomplished through emails and we even spoke a few time by phone. I had many things I wanted us to see on our trip and Kate made everything happen. As we got closer to our departure date, we were turned over to Wing Wong and she was just as helpful. Every detail of our trip was excellent. Our guides were fabulous, our hotels were amazing. Highly recommend Jacada Travel.
We could not have wished for a more luxurious or well organized tour. Everything was well thought out as per the information and preferences that we had provided beforehand, from content and highlights of tours that we wanted to do, down to particular wines that we prefer.
The staff in London to the staff in the different countries that we visited were extremely professional and well informed.
All of our tour guides were so knowledgeable and obviously enjoyed their job, and were proud to share information and anecdotes with us.

We had good advice from Jacada Travel in advance of our trip and received good support from them throughout our trip as they facilitated transfers, check-ins and guided tours.
Only negative was arriving at one remote tiny airport 5 hours before our flight with very little to do.
The Jacada team helped me plan my 10th anniversary trip to Chile. From the beginning of the planning process, to end of the trip, I felt I was being looked after by a team of professional planners that had a lot of experience in this field. I especially appreciated the in person visit from Riki Ueda, my travel consultant, who patiently went through the details of the trip time and again with me and wife. As we live in Asia, and have never been to Chile, we had a ton of questions - and all of them were answered in turn. In the end, we went into the trip with a sound piece of mind, and experienced everything we wanted without worrying about the administrative details. Needlessly to say the trip was amazing, and I would definitely look to work with Jacada again on my next exotic vacation.

Anantara Golden Triangle Resort and Elephant Camp - This place was amazing, the staff knew our names as soon as we walked in and always seemed excited to see us. They were fantastic with the kids and the room and overall property were excellent. Then, of course, came the elephant experiences, they far exceeded our expectations. We were up close and personal for almost 2 days. The mahouts and staff genuinely seemed happy to have us around and show off their animals. The riding experience, which included bathing with them, was unbelievable and something my whole family will remember forever. They liked to play with each other and loved all the snacking they got to do when we were around. Truly top notch. I would recommend this Anantara to anyone interested in elephants.
Flight of the Gibbons (zip lining) - This was great! I've done zip lining before but I felt this was even more intense then previous experience in Costa Rico. All the runs were a little different and were great fun. My kids, who love this kind of stuff, thought it was great.
Pilmalai Resort - This was an outstanding property and we had an incredible villa over looking the ocean, low on the mountain, so we had a quick 3 minute walk to the beach. We had an excellent Thai cooking class and Muy Thai training session. Having this at the end of the trip was exactly the relaxing way we needed to conclude such a fantastic trip.
Markets in Bangkok - Also excellent to see how the way of life is there. Overall, we really enjoyed getting out of the cities and seeing market, temples, and overall how people in the area live
Guides - All the guides were great, but I would like to give special acknowledgement to Bam, who was our guide in Chiang Mai. She was excellent, nice, flexible, knowledgable, and overall a very pleasant companion as we journeyed in the area. We really appreciated everything she did with and for us while we were there.
Improvement Opportunities - While the entire trip was great, there was one thing that was a miss.
Planning in Chiang Mia - The original plan for our trip was to arrive in Chiang Mai on a flight scheduled to land at 1:25 and then go zip lining. However, the zip line center was an hour drive from the airport and the last run of the day started at 2:00PM. When we arrived, Bam informed us that we would not be able to go to zip lining that day because we didn't have the time. In reality, there was no possible way to use that flight and make the zip lining event. Jacada should have known this well before the trip started. We could have taken an earlier flight on this day to make it. While we were able to make it up later, we lost a free afternoon (that would have happened on the last day in Chiang Mai). I had planned on and was looking forward to that free afternoon so we could explore Chiang Mai or just relax a little bit. Instead we packed the zip lining and Chiang Mai tour in to that one day.
I wondered whether there was too much detail info in advance, but in view of the complexity of the trip, it was all necessary. The guidance and information provision was extremely helpful.
Just returned from a special anniversary trip to Vietnam and Cambodia with the entire itinerary planned and expertly executed by the marvellous team at Jacada Travel. A very special thanks to Gloria and Keith for organizing the best trip my wife and I have ever taken. The hotels were simply magnificent, particularly the one in Cambodia (Phum Baitang). The guides were far above average, knowledgeable, kind, helpful, understanding and innovative. Our drivers were superb particularly taking into account the difficult driving conditions in the major cities. Everyone was always on time and we never felt rushed. The large tourist crowds were often avoided allowing us a more personal in depth experience. The tours arranged on our behalf were amazing and extremely interesting. Our food requirements were dealt with in expert fashion and several of our dining experiences were unique. There was just the right amount of spare time built into our itinerary as well. Overall the entire experience, start to finish was first class but the special and unexpected touches in honour of our anniversary raised the bar to an entirely new level.
We would have no problem recommending Jacada Travel as the gold star company in personalized travel.

I heard of Jacada travel from a friend who has a friend who loves them. I reached out to them on short notice (Sept for a Nov-Dec trip) and wanted something a little different - to go to a couple different continents in one trip. Katie and Becky were awesome, and worked together to organize a seamless amazing trip for me. They listened to my likes and dislikes, interest and like-to-do's, and where all I wanted to go. Then they got back with me with an epic adventure that perfect. Everywhere I was going, I had never been and I trusted their expertise to pick some awesome experiences.
They nailed it. I had the best holiday in my life, spending a month visiting South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. I loved everywhere I went and all the activities planned. Everywhere I stayed was fabulous, all my guides were wonderful, and the food... well forget about any weight loss, it was so great! They followed up throughout and made sure things were going well. Katie even spent a couple hours on her weekend off to make sure my connecting flight that was cancelled, wasn't an issue. She had another already arranged when I got to the airport.

Jacada was great to work with from start to finish. Jacob was very knowledgeable of the countries of interest and Costa Rica, which was our honeymoon destination. We loved being able to have conversations about the areas, available resorts and excursions, what to expect, what we should pack and discuss the excitement of this trip! I would definitely recommend Jacada and hope in the future we can use them again. Travel Excellence was great to work with on-site when we need to leave a hotel early and rebook excursions. I would highly recommend working with them as their service team was polite, quick to respond and super helpful!

The trip was great! My husband and I had super fun and wonderful in Chile trips. We love Chile more than any country we had visited on last Oct.-Nov. and hopefully we will have a chance to visit here again! We miss Chile already! People are very nice, Food was amazing and the natural was so unbelievably!

Our Tanzanian Safari was an absolutely amazing experience. Tessa Van der Walt at Jacada flawlessly planned our adventure and it was executed to the highest standard. Tess was always just a phone call or e-mail away during our trip, although we had no reason to contact her other than express how happy we were! The people we met were interesting, wonderfully accommodating and truly invested in our enjoyment of our time in Africa. Each area we visited offered a different environment and we were able to see more animals and birds than we could ever imagine. The reserves and lodges were amazing, and each very different from the other. This allowed us to experience each area we visited a little bit differently, but they were always a seamless blend of luxury and adventure.
I don't often review our travels, but this trip was beyond our wildest expectations and we are already eyeing a return visit!
Iceland adventure was amazing with Jacada arranging everything. If you want to experience more than what every tourist can easily see contact them - you won’t be disappointed. Hanna was fantastic to work with and very knowledgeable. Just an over the top experience from first contact through arriving back home!

They had very good accommodations, tours and suggestions as to how to best spend our time in Australia. They were very accommodating to all requests and changes and all their people were very easy to deal with.

We chose to travel with Jacada for our Indo-China trip end of October. We had chosen to visit a number of cities throughout Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. We took a trip through SE Asia for 19 days. Everything went off without a hitch. Even though several flights were delayed, our guides were always waiting for us at the airports. Our guides were all exceptional; they were all so knowledgable about every aspect of their area, including history, culture, food, current political climates, architecture and travel to name just a few. The entire trip was well within our budget. We were able to see everything we wanted to see as well as some wonderful additional places that Jacada recommended.
