Thank you Jacada Travel for an unforgettable experience to Italy. Melania our Travel Designer made the whole process so easy! She developed a personal relationship with my wife and I, taking the time to get to know us and making the trip specific for what we were looking for. Everything was done so first class. Excursions and transfers were all privately done. Most enjoyable vacation we have ever been on. Would recommend the Jacada experience to anyone.
I want to give a 4.5 Star but the system does not allow that. The trip overall was very good, despite the initial contact with Jacada was not smooth and reply not always timely. The briefing for the weather was not very details, i.e. I know exactly what to pack now. Both Lima and Machu Picchu was cold without sun. The guides were professional and caring. Marisol (?) knows her food, Elissa was very kind and knowledgeable, Juilo was very passionate about showing his country and the heritage and he also helped my husband all the way, a good person. Tattiana (the petit lady) at Iguazu Falls was fabulous. She tried her utmost to show and explain to us everything about that munificent fall, wouldn't let us miss anything great. Marcelo was fun to be with. All the drivers were good.
The hotels were first class and service was outstanding, we were allowed to check out at 4:00 pm in two hotels as our departures were late and very thoughtful.
Food was a nice surprise both in Peru and Brazil - a new culinary destination.
LATAM flied between Cusco and Lima, Lima to Iguassu almost every hour or two, I don't know about the rainy seasons but
in the winter, it is very safe to take a later flight (we took the 6:00 flight) from Cusco to Iguassu via Lima with not issues. Perhaps you would consider that.
Jacada's local agents were great, never failed to meet us on time and very reassuring.
With regards to itinerary, it may be better not to make Juilo went up with us to Machu Picchu for a day only instead, hire a guide up there for the whole time. We paid $100 for a local guide for almost a day, he gave us good alterative suggestion to walk up the Sun Gate as if we want to track Machu Picchu we had to start early as they close the mountain at 1:00 noon. .
BTW, Hiram Bingham train will take an airline carry on luggage, I will send you pictures. I was cold as I cant put my heavier jacket inside the overnight bag specified by your instruction.

Em Hunter, an African travel expert at Jacada Travel, put together such an incredible four country itinerary thru Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia and South Africa for my family as well as a bonus rendezvous with our friends at the andbeyond Ngala Lodge at Kruger National Park that we are already looking forward to planning our next trip with her. While on safari at Seba Camp in the Okavango Delta, we watched as a pack of wild dogs separated a cape buffalo calf from the herd and have their way with it before returning to their den to regurgitate a meal for the eager pups. Leaving the dogs, we stumbled across a male lion attempting to take down a honey badger with no success. The morning ended with my son and I watching another male lion along with his brother feed on a freshly killed adult cape buffalo atop a rise overlooking a water hole. The entire experience is one we will not soon forget, especially the magnitude of the stars in the night sky, the rhino walk in Zambi, the sundowners on the Zambezi River and the white lion cubs at Ngala Lodge. Jacada did an amazing job creating the perfect Safari experience. Every location and every person we encountered were wonderful. I can't say enough good things about Jacada and Jonathon "Jonny" Humphries. As we planned our trip to Africa, Jonny was a fantastic listener, and incorporated our wishes into a fantastic vacation. He was knowledgeable and offered an assortment of choices and considerations. He was also very responsive. On those rare instances when he was not available, his co worker, Andrea Thomas was equally a joy to work with. They worked seamlessly together.
The logistics were smooth and the accommodations were wonderful, several of them exceeded our expectations.
My husband and I had the most wonderful experience on our recent trip to Peru booked through Jacada Travel. Our Latin American travel designer, Jen Richt, listened carefully to what we were interested in and provided us a fantastic itinerary. Everything went smoothly from each airport arrival to transfers to the hotels and on all our guided tours. The tour guides were great. They were knowledgeable in the history of Peru and kept the tours interesting.

We had an amazing time on our Jacada trip. I love how everything was tailored to our needs, each transport was handled, we had an assistant or a guide or someone everywhere we went, and we even had a backup if we needed to call someone with an issue. Jacada also checked up on us in each new city to see how the trip was going. The trip itself was wonderful and couldn’t have been better planned unless I had more time for vacation!
The people at Jacada actually listen to you during the planning process as opposed to others that throw a formula based plan at you. Our trip to Peru was unforgettable - the planning by Jen and Omar ensures that altitude issues were minimized and every where we went there were little surprises and upgrades. And thanks to carful in country planning and interpretation by our guide Marco we always did the popular things while the bus trips were elsewhere!

Rebecca Cook did an exceptional job of arranging our "Safarimoon" in Africa - Rwanda, Tanzania, and the Seychelles. We had many ideas and dreams that she considered and organized into a trip full of adventure and beauty. There were only a few (expected in Africa) bumps along the way and Rebecca was interested in feedback on how to make an already spectacular experience even better. Jacada organized my vacation with my son to Costa Rica. Everything went completely smoothly. They booked just the right amount of activity vs down time from the discussion we had. All hotels were excellent and all logistics occurred with no issues. Overall a very good experience.
With the help of Jacada we were able to experience a spectacular stress-free family vacation to Croatia. Our trip designer thoughtfully planned out our itinerary so that we had the perfect balance of adventure and site seeing. We hiked waterfalls, went white water rafting and enjoyed tours of Diocletian’s place, Dubrovnik’s fortress, and Hvar.
All of the Jacada drivers and tour guides were top rate—friendly, professional and knowledgeable and our hotel accommodations were phenomenal. This is our second family vacation with Jacada (the first to Chile) and won’t be our last. A+

I found Jacada travel services while surfing the internet for a company to assist our group of 10 with a trip to hit the major sites in Peru. They did not disappoint! Our trip was amazing. There wasn’t a single detail that Jacada and their country affiliate did not attend to. We stayed in beautiful hotels with impeccable service. We had airport assistance, drivers and guides. Our guides were very knowledgeable. We had a guide in Lima for a half day historical tour who was excellent. I apologize I can’t recall he name. Our guide Freddie was with us for most of the rest of the trip to the Sacred Valley ,Machu Picchu and Cusco. He was wonderful guiding us through Inca history, culture and customs. We all learned so much. He gave us tips to assist us acclimate to the altitude so no one needed medication. He had an intimate understanding of the people of Peru. We enjoyed some meals on our own. Those provided through Jacada were absolutely delicious! There was no room for improvement in any part of our trip. We thank Jan, Romanet and Omar from Jacada and all the persons who helped make this trip memorable. We plan on looking into using Jacada in the future!
Our trip to Africa was one of the best vacations that we’ve been on! Everything was well planned and it was an experience of a lifetime.
Jacada Travel helped us plan a trip to Mendoza, AR. They made some great suggestions about activities there. Their local partner, Discovering the Andes, were great hosts and took us to great wineries/restaurants as well as local artists. The wine was good; the food was good; the "people to people" activites were delightful.

Go with Jacada! If you try to do the trip yourself, you may hit a few high notes. With Jacada you get a symphony! Emily orchestrated every element of our trip to South Africa. Cape Town, Franschhoek wine country, Ngala game preserve, and the incredible Royal Chundu were all spectacular. Each element building on the last. The guides at each location were knowledgeable, professional and clearly loved their subject. The safari guides at Ngala —beyond belief. My wife is gluten intolerant. Emily, Angela, and each of the locations made sure she was more than accommodated. Her chefs table birthday dinner will be talked about for years. Helicopter rides over Victoria falls!! If you want a trip of a lifetime go with Jacada. We talk about never being able to go on a vacation again that will top this one. Next time we will surely go with Jacada.

I have never used a travel agency before, but after careful research and due diligence, I decided to use Jacada. I travel often for work and do not have a lot of free time on my hand to work out details, so an agency was required to help me plan a surprise trip for my wife. I worked with the Jacada team to create the first 2 week vacation my wife and I have had in 12 years - South America was the destination. Due to family issues on my end, we had to postpone the vacation once, so this trip was 18 months in the making and Jacada was understanding about the delay. I asked for a totally private experience with private transfers, private tours and private guides. They delivered!
The Jacada staff (Jacob Jewitt-Jalland and Omar Nunez) were excellent to work with and I am sure there are numerous people behind the scenes who I never spoke with or met and who contributed to our awesome experience. From the start, Jacob was patient and understanding in listening to me regarding the experience I was looking to create. He drafted a cool itinerary based on those conversations. From there, we tweaked the itinerary (at least ½ dozen times), locations and experiences. He was very knowledgeable about each of them (having done them himself) and was able to answer all the questions.
Once the itinerary was set, Jacada went silent (which is what a good company should do) until we were about 90 days out and decisions had to be made. Omar and Jacob were excellent in responding to any additional questions, ensuring that we had all our set meals sorted (for excursions) and that we were not only clear on what was going to happen but excited as about it as well!
Once the trip started, it was white glove service all the way. We were met at the airports, taken to our hotels, VIP check-in’s, picked up for excursions (with tickets in hand) and privately guided all the way (we waited in very few lines). The experience spoiled us, and it will be hard to go “back to reality” of booking our own shorter vacations (we will always use Jacada for special vacations).
Jacada’s partners (Enigma and Wanderlust) also provided superior guides and supporting staff. They are trained, professional guides who really know the areas they take you to explore. I would be elated to have any of the guides or staff we met on our vacation show us around again.
Additionally, you cannot book a 15-day 8 city tour without something going wrong. One of the hotels (Posada Bemberg and/or Casa Bemberg) pulled a bait and switch on all of us (my wife and I, Jacada and Wanderlust). Instead of a 5-star room at the Posada (which was closed for “renovations”) we were put in the Casa Bemberg which is a 1 star hostel at best. We had to spend the night as we could not get in touch with our guide because we were in the jungle and there was no cell phone reception. You can read my review on that experience on Travelocity. Responsibility for this fall squarely on the owners of the Posada Bemberg and not Jacada or their partners.
When these things happen, service recovery is critical. Jacada and Wanderlust did an exceptional service recovery job and although a stain on the trip, our bad experience was soon forgotten, and our white glove experience continued. It is now a great story.
Finally, everyone we met (guides and representatives from Jacada Partners) commented on how detailed and demanding Jacada and their agents are. They (Jacada) constantly send their agents on the same excursions they recommend for their clients and to gather local intelligence. That is very evident when you book your adventure and when you are on the ground experiencing your adventure.
Bottom line, I am a demanding client and Jacada delivered. I will recommend them to anyone who asks and promote Jacada to those thinking about a special vacation. They are a fantastic company and I thank them for a great experience!

The trip I took to Iceland in June 2019 with Jacada was amazing. Murray Mitchell at Jacada was so easy to work with during the planning process and everything ran smoothly once we were there. They were even able to reschedule our massages at the Blue Lagoon due to a flight delay.
Our tour guide, Agnes, was the best. She was fun, accommodating and had a wealth of knowledge about Iceland. She even suggested making some changes to our itinerary to make our experience better. Can't rave enough about her!
I will definitely look to Jacada for other trip planning where I want a personal tour.

Anyone who requires a complicated travel itinerary be put together with numerous options and attention to your needs and desires, should consider using Jacada. They have put two such itineraries together for me and I've been completely satisfied. Everything went like clockwork with some surprising upgrades and private experiences. While you may pay a premium for such services, it's worth knowing your dream holiday will provide lasting memories and be executed flawlessly.
This was our second trip working with Jacada. For our daughter's 12th birthday, we decided on Costa Rica.
Emily and Berni, our travel designers, helped us design a trip that made our daughter feel like the center of the world. They even sent her a gift prior to departure.
At every turn Jacada made us feel special, whether it was the bottle of champagne waiting at our first stay, or our daughter special birthday dinner out under the stars along the Pacuare River, or a departing dinner at Grano De Oro hotel in San Jose.
There where a few issues along the way, but this is allowed Berni to shine; she was able to address issues at the moment. A lesser company would not have done this. It is how things were dealt with that really shows the quality and care given to my family.
The list of highlights is too long to share in total but a few things we did included: zip lining, canyoning, rappelling, horseback riding, birding, and whitewater rafting. We saw toucans, macaws, sloths, all four species of monkey, dart frogs, and more! We loved every minute.
Currently, we are starting to plan our next adventure, and we will be working with Jacad again for sure.

We have used Jacada for Iceland, South Africa, South America and Italy.
Their travel designers are first rate. In many cases they are from the destination of interest or have been to the location(s) and have stayed in the hotels that they are recommending. The continuity that Jacada creates between the various service providers i.e. hotels, excursions, transport is superb. Personal note, the big bus tours are "ok", but after you have experienced a Jacada arranged private driver/tour and conversation that flows from such an immersive experience there will be no going back!
I came to Jacada with a non-standard itinerary, and they put together everything I requested to travel in 4 southern African countries we had never previously visited. They chose great lodges for us, and coordinated 15 short flights with a minimum of sitting around in airports. There was someone to meet us at every stop, and, with all the moving around and opportunities for things to go wrong, the whole trip went off flawlessly.
Worked with Jess & Gilda on my trip to French Polynesia. They were responsive and enthusiastic and we felt taken care of the entire way. Every detail was accounted for and we barely had to do much finger lifting the whole planning process. It was an amazing trip, truly luxurious. I look forward to working with them again.
