There are few places where the past comes to life in quite the same was as in Athens. Often referred to as the cradle of Western civilisation, it’s a city bursting at the seams with culture, intrigue, and beauty. It’s not just a place for history buffs, however, it’s also one of the liveliest European capitals. A thriving café culture ensures you’re not left waning in between all the sightseeing and you’ll never have to venture far to enjoy the vibrant nightlife.

Athens walking tour

Put the best of science, art and philosophy together in one creation and you have the definitive monument of human civilisation - the Acropolis. The Acropolis, and the Parthenon in particular, is the most characteristic monument of the ancient Greeks and it continues to stand as a symbol of democracy, Western civilisation and European unity. During the walk you will also get to see the Hephaisteion temple, Hadrian’s Library, the Roman Agora and the New Acropolis Museum, which is housed in a state-of-the-art building designed by Swiss-born architect Bernard Tschumi.

Visit the markets and neighbourhoods of Athens

In the foothills of the Acropolis is Plaka, one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Athens. It is extremely picturesque and noted for its authentic character and traditional layout. The most beautiful part of Plaka is the settlement of Anafiotika with pretty Cycladic houses leading up to the Acropolis. Close by is Thissio, a wonderful neighbourhood that looks out towards the Acropolis, and where there are plenty of cafes from which to sip a coffee and drink in the views.

Monastiraki is also part of the heart of Athens and famous for its flea market. These historic neighborhoods are full of traditional and Neoclassical buildings, Byzantine churches, boutiques, cafes, bars and taverns.

Athens panoramic city tour

Passing the Megaron Concert Hall you'll admire neoclassical buildings such as the National Library, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the National Bank of Greece. White church in Oia town on Santorini island in Greece

Floating in the southern Aegean Sea is a little slice of Greek heaven. A huge volcanic eruption 3,500 years ago left a caldera which turned the then- circular Santorini into a crescent shaped island, one that has been charming visitors since they first arrived.

Santorini is the largest island of a small archipelago, wrapping its arms protectively around the islands of Palea, Nea and Thirasia. Sheer cliffs hundreds of metres high shield coves and beaches made up of red, white and black sand, while pretty villages of limewashed cubic houses creep up the sides, nestled into every nook and cranny.

Santorini island tour

Discover the beautiful island of Santorini on a tour that takes you to some of the most scenic and lesser known spots. Of course the island is famous for a reason, so you'll also get to see iconic landmarks such as its red and white beaches. You will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the caldera and the southern shores while having the opportunity to get in touch with the local people who work the harsh volcanic land and still preserve the traditional way of life on the island.

Wander through the narrow, labyrinthine alleyways of the medieval village of Emporeio and discover one of the last standing Venetian castles at Akrotiri. You'll then visit one of the island's traditional wineries for a taste of the award-wining Vinsanto wines, before finishing the day on the castle walls of Pyrgos for cocktails while enjoying beautiful views of the Aegean.

Private boat cruise around Santorini and Folegandros

Board your rib boat and enjoy exploring Santorini and Folegandros from the water. The most amazing beaches are not accessible by car so you will have the opportunity to reach them by boat and swim in the emerald waters.

You will start your cruise by heading to the island of Folegandros, a small and untouched piece of true Greece. After cooling off in the sparkling sea, you'll enjoy lunch in the town of Chora, a quiet place that is closed to car and motorcycle traffic. Its centre is in fact three squares in a row, and there are plenty of trees under which to enjoy some food and drink. Before returning to Santorini you will admire the sunset from the caldera with a crisp glass of wine in hand.

Mykonos might be one of the smallest islands in the Cyclades complex but it makes up for it in character. Its reputation as a glamorous party destination has stuck since the 50s and while it’s true people here know how to have a good time, the island is incredibly beautiful, its beaches and secluded corners offering refuge to those who seek it.

With its cubic white houses laced with colourful bougainvillea, red domes and church bell towers, Mykonos is a picture-perfect Greek haven. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants from where to sit and people watch, and its white labyrinthine streets are ripe for exploring.

Mykonos city and island tour

Explore the narrow streets of the old town, the small port, churches and the island's famous windmills. You will also visit some of the most famous beaches and the inner land- scape, seeing fishermen and caiques, small chapels and houses built in the typical Cycladic style.

The second main village of Mykonos is Ano Mera, an idyllic place 6km from town, where you'll stroll around the traditional square and visit the 16th-century monastery, Panagia Tourliani. Your final stop is Kalafatis beach were there is time to relax and enjoy a coffee before heading back to town to enjoy fantastic views over Mykonos and the neighboring islands.

Explore the beaches of Mykonos by private boat

Mykonos beaches are famous for their golden sand and crystal clear turquoise waters and you'll get to explore some of the best beaches on a private boat trip. Your captain knows the prettiest harbours, the quiestest bays and the best areas for snorkelling so you really get to see the best of Mykonos. It's up to you how to spend the day, so whether you want to sunbathe, read a book on the deck or dive straight into the sparkling sea - it's up to you.

Visit Delos

The sacred island of Delos is one of the most important mythological, archaeological and historical sites in Greece. It was considered a holy sanctuary for a millennium before Greek mythology made it the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. From its Sacred Harbour, the horizon shows two conical mounds, one of which, Mount Kynthos, is crowned with a sanctuary of Dionysus.

Horse riding in Mykonos

Visit a small ranch where together with the owners you will choose the right horse for you. The ride starts from Ano Mera, a crossroad for many of the northern and southern beaches of the island. After a couple of hours you will reach Fokos Beach and stop for lunch. Fokos is an unspoiled beach, peaceful and quiet and surrounded by wild and beautiful scenery.
