Gleneagles is perfectly suited to guests of all ages, and there are outdoor activities to keep the whole family entertained. From it’s world famous golf to off-road driving, mountain biking, falconry, fishing, archery and horse-riding, you will be able to make the most of Scotland’s fresh air and beautiful scenery. You can also indulge in a selection of traditional therapies and alternative treatments at The Spa at Gleneagles by ESPA.

Positive Impact

Protecting the environment around the course

Gleneagles takes many measures to protect the flora and fauna around its golf course, including resurfacing its drives using plastic waste which would otherwise have gone into landfill. They are carrying out carefully planned management of heathland, gorse, broom, woodlands, bracken and grassland to maintain optimal conditions for key species. In addition to this, they encourage the natural regeneration of Scots pine woodland, plus further planting of native trees, and they have established a close relationship with the Perthshire Big Tree Country project, providing funds from guest stays to protect and enhance Perthshire’s most historic trees and woodlands.
