Grand Hotel Gyumri

Vintage style and modern comfort

Escape to Armenia's cultural capital

In the heart of Armenia’s cultural capital, Gyumri, Grand Hotel Gyumri offers you a sophisticated place to stay while exploring this part of the country. One of the newer hotels in the area, the vintage style and original façade of the building has been preserved, with luxuriously elegant interiors. The building itself dates back to the 1870s and was constructed by craftsmen from Erzurum and Kars. In its previous lives it was a maternity hospital, administrative offices for the KGB and a prosecutor’s office.

One of the highlights of the property is the impressive fresco, Weaving a Carpet, which was painted by Minas Avetisyan in 1973. And some of the cities best galleries and museums are just a short drive from the hotel. There are also some great restaurants nearby.
